I think the quality of the food has gone down over the years. My sister loves going here whenever we're in the area because it's cheap. I used to like this place as well, but I think they've become stingy with their portion sizes.
I've created my own bento box a couple of times and ordered a bimbimbop. I would definitely chose the bento box over the bimbimbop just for the amount of food. The food isn't spectacular, but I guess if you want something quick? I would rather use that money and get myself a real rice bowl at the nearby restaurants.
Bento boxes cost 9 euros from now on. It started on January 5/6th.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Eileen C.Paris2002236137 oct. 2016
I really like this place for fast take out or food to heat up later for dinner on those days I feel extremely lazy. I think the prices are really good too! The place is crazy clean and they package the food really well. They have said dishes that you can buy on the side for really cheap. Their bentos are 9-11€ and come with rice, a main, five side dishes with fruit which I think is exceptionally cheap for Paris.
I've tried their bibimbap, jap chae (Korean glass noodles), and marinated fried chicken. The marinated fried chicken is really out of this world. You can get the chicken itself for 6€ or as a meal for 9€.
The people who work here are extremely efficient and friendly. The side dishes are plentiful and some of the stuff they offer are Korean pancakes, oh dang, many types of kimchi, potato salad, sautéed peanuts, the list can go on forever.
They also have ddukbokki and different types of bulgogi. If you're looking for a cheap and filling meal, come pay this place a visit! Try the chicken!! It's amazing.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Chaseit O.Miami Beach, États-Unis478270312 mars 2015
Bring 9€ and you'll get a bibimbap bento box to go or to stay.
You'll be invited to choose your meet (spicy chicken, spicy calamari a, spicy beef or beef),
Then you choose 2 sides,
All this goes over the bowl of rice.
It was great and I almost licked the bowl so good it was. I'll be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Wathana P.Paris14202510 déc. 2010
If you like to enjoy a bento for lunch there are a few places in Paris you should go and you're lucky cause they're located on the same street : Yasube, Jujiya (Momonoki is not far away as well) and...Ace Bento!
You can pick among different meats (onion beef, Tteokbokki, Teriyaki, pork) and vegetables (edamame, salsify, green bean, kimchi...).
Oh I almost forgot about the miso soup and fruit salad included in every bento for 8 euros.
Try to avoid peak hours between 12h20 and 13h30. Very convenient in the mid-afternoon.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Angele B.Los Angeles, États-Unis6101114 févr. 2017
This place is just... average.
Their main "speciality" is a bento box: 1 rice, 1 choice of meat and 5 sides (essentially a variety of banchan served in paper cupcake holders). I went for the fried chicken, which had a nice batter, but unfortunately lacked in taste, spice and meat quality. The banchan portions were also super small, but considering the quality I wasn't dying for a second serving of any of them. The kimchi was dry and not as sour as I usually like it.
My boyfriend got the bibimbap and while the beef had a good flavour, it was lukewarm.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt slightly as we dined at 6pm on a Monday. For the price, we didn't expect something super special, but we don't think we'll be going back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jason B.Schaumburg, États-Unis1758837221 oct. 2016

The food was bad... especially the rice since I had Shrimp without sauce to mix with the rice.. too dry ! The atmosphere is stressful and the sides are so so... at least it's cheap !

this review is for the fried chicken. on the outside, it looked glorious.
key word here is "looked." there was actually very little/no chicken on the inside. the chunks were around 90 percent breading and ended up being basically inedible which is really too damn bad because the sauce was delicious. i would have probably been better off with the spicy bbq beef.
the sides were acceptable (you can choose any 5 of common japanese/korean sides).
prices are cheap but quality is meh.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sushi S.Kyoto, Japon5651175313 juin 2010
Possible bento permutations compete with Starbucks coffees.
