I came in this afternoon see what I had to do to get both of my headlights working on my vehicle. The light on my passenger side wasn't working properly. I had replaced the bulb and also checked the fuses but nothing....
So having to take my car in I was expecting some higher costs than what I actually got. And I was also expecting a longer wait time. I was even expecting to have to possibly make an appointment and plan a way to get the funds needed. However Jorge B. went above and beyond helped me get my lights fixed. I'm no time!
Coming here made my day. I've been coming to this location for years and not once have I regretted it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 9 avr. 2024
Came here on Easter so your mileage may vary but I had a pretty dismal experience with Autonation Toyota.
We were greeted on the lot after doing a walk-in and were shown a couple of new Corollas. We were told they were selling very well and didn't have many in stock so we couldn't test drive unless we were serious.
After spending another 10 min browsing the certified used car area which had bar codes to scan but no other information we decided to leave for Hyundai across the street which was a way better experience.
Vibes are not great here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dustin H.Phoenix, États-Unis13123618 mars 2024
I've seen the manager yelling at employees in the drive up, I've seen parts employees throwing parts and arguing with customers. This is 2 acres of a trash fire.
I have to deal with this dealership thru work and because I have a Toyota, from parts to service, all the employees have their head straight up their a**. If you go here, I guarantee you'll be back here to give it your own negative review. I wish Toyota could step in because it's shocking how bad this place is.

Chad and George in parts are defiant to customers who spend 10s of thousands of dollars with them. I understand making hourly at a dealership isn't the most fun job but trying to get these guys to just answer the phone is a big obstacle in itself. Finally Jesus answered and was very helpful but it shouldn't take calling seven times to order an $800 part over and over again. The dealership is losing money because of these guys. I'm a reasonable dude and need responsiveness from vendors to run my business and punctually help my customers.

So .... Walking onto the lot & looking for a used commuter vehicle! I was strolling the around for an hour and not one of the sales people bothered to walk up, ask a question or even offer anything.... So we found a vehicle on our own and while walking in past the herd (like 9 Dudes in red Polos) this kid in a button up shirt 3 sizes too big asks ... have you been helped and is there anything I can do for you! NEEDLESS to say the Bro Bunch went dead silent and everyone gave Tatum Bond (the gutsy new sales kid) a WTH stare... this dude got a sale at the end of the day! He didn't pressure he listened, he understood the ask and went to bat for the items I was looking for and/requesting to be comfortable with the deal... now it's just a waiting game to sign the final docs bc I'm ready!!!

Such a great car buying experience at this location. Cesar was INCREDIBLE every step of the way. He was kind and helpful, and he really went above and beyond with his customer service. He made the entire process seamless and easy. I am so happy with my decision to buy a used vehicle from AutoNation Toyota Tempe. Thank you, Cesar, for everything!! Highly, highly recommend!!

I had a great experience buying a truck here. Ask for Kyle, he is very friendly and super knowledgeable on everything in the dealership.

Main take away is DO NOT take your vehicle to the service department at Auto Nation Tempe Toyota if you live in Arizona and honestly all Auto Nation service department's are just as bad probably after seeing how corporate office still has not returned my call.
Bought this 2022 TRD Pro from Auto Nation Toyota Tempe as a certified used Toyota on November 12th, 2023.
I am going to try to summarize because it was so exhausting and drawn out:
February 6th-Towed vehicle to stealership 2nd time for blinking CEL and was told there was bad gas(see picture) no test performed and although I asked for a sample was not provided one ($1300 for fuel cleaning)
March 2nd-Had vehicle towed to Stealership for 3rd time due to blinking CEL
March 6th-Was told my spark plugs were fouled and there was too much build up on the back of my valves-cost $259x2 plus $285 spark plugs. They blamed all of this on my prior bad gas, when I asked how I could possibly be responsible for that much build up after owning vehicle for 3 months, they said hang on let me check some things.
March 15th-Messages dealership, no response
March 20th-Called Toyota Corporate
March 26th-Finally heard back from dealer and they said after a TAS case they came to the conclusion I was at fault still. I requested a manager contact me. At this point the service manager could not explain to me what exactly they did for the original fuel cleaning and then tried to mansplain to me how water settles on top of gas and he has been doing this a long time to know that my gas was filthy. I asked him to clarify twice that water sits on top of gas which he confirmed. To which I replied, sir you are incorrect, gas floats on top of water and since your visual expertise of gas is clearly anything but expert forgive me but I don't trust your opinions and you should have tested the gas. I spoke with my lawyer at this point, he was able to recommend and reputable shop in town who in turn told me to get my car the heck away from that dealership and that there are only two trust worth dealerships in town. I immediately had it towed across town at my expense to a new dealership the next morning.
March 27th-30 minutes after having my vehicle the service department at the new dealership called to tell me my vehicle was fixed and ready for pickup! Wanna know what was wrong??? One of the fuel injectors was UNPLUGGED!! Any freaking idiot should have been able to diagnose that, no engine build up, spark plugs were fine, a freaking unplugged fuel injector. In addition I had asked the other dealership to road force balance my rig 3 times and they never did, new dealership said they were torqued all wrong so they fixed that too!
March 27th-I return with my husband to the other dealership to return the rental car and tell them what the other dealership found. This stupid service manager (Chris-Auto Nation Tempe Toyota) just can't let it go, he actually insinuates that I put diesel in my car. At this point I've had it, I've worked in the auto recycling world for 10 years I am not dumb enough to put diesel in my gas tank. He says to me, well how am I suppose to know what you do to your car. Well gee you could have tested the gas originally like I asked?!?
March 27th continued-When I went to pick up my car, I saw a really pretty 2024 TRD Off road in underground with a 3" lift already installed. Sadly my car even though it was fixed just didn't feel like the happy purchase I originally made soooo I traded her in and ended up being a straight swap with a better interest rate!! My new baby has less than 100 miles
Sorry I tried to keep this short, it wasn't.....if you are in Arizona stay the hell away from Auto Nation Tempe Toyota! I took my vehicle to Avondale Toyota and they actually diagnosed it properly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David M.Queen Creek, États-Unis0214 avr. 2024

I'm learning a lot this go round of searching for a new automobile. Autonation Toyota of Tempe charges $3000 for factory installed accessories. "Dealership installed" is on the sticker. That is so greedy and dishonest!! When I brought this to the sales guy's attention, he said, well I've never lost a deal over the accessories. I learned about the factory installed accessories through another honest dealership. It pays to do homework.
