Baja Sharkeez

Food and service here is always fantastic. If you like gastro pub/Mexican fare, it's impossible to go wrong with Sharkeez. Then there's the friendly staff.

Kristina in particular is fantastic; she's always taken the best care of us, and makes sure everything is just right. If you ever swing by, see if she's in! You won't regret it!

She's attentive and extremely detail oriented; in fact when weirdos are around she is always on top of the situation and deals with it in an excellent and professional mamner.

We keep coming especially for her great service!

If you're ever by the beach, give this place a chance!

Great menu, Insane food!
My first time in California and this restaurant made the experience 10 times better. The waiters were caring and the service was just overall amazing.

Food is actually pretty good considering it's a bar. They do have beer pong at night time, which is a good way to break the ice on first dates.
Services's is average, not crazy amazing but also not very bad.
Ambiance, it's a regular bar. People are cool, vibe is easy, they do have a lot of happy hour deals if you go at certain times

This place is at a great location. However, when we 1st sat down, it was confusing if we had a server or if we needed to order at the bar. We were told a server should see us soon but it took about 15min or so. It looked like a buser or someone else brought us water, that was nice of them. Once the server came, we ordered the birria quesadilla. DO NOT ORDER THIS. It was not a good birria. Too much cinnamon. The drinks we had were good and once we saw our waiter, he was nice. Chips and salsa was good.

If we go again, we will definitely order something else and sit at the bar. I gave 3 stars as they were all nice and a great view but the food was ok and service was ok as well.

If you need a place to eat brunch or grab a drink... maybe both, Baja Sharkeez is the place to be! I ordered the Birria Tacos Benidoct (no picture i was hungry!), and was with the amazing bartender/server Jay. Not only that, i was greeted with loveable and admirable presence of Kirky who showed us to a seat before greeted by Jay.

Jay was admirable and understanding with our several requests, and made sure we left satisfied and happy. As a first timer, I really enjoyed my experience because of these two gentlemen, apart from
the food itself.

I highly reccomend !

It's cool! It reminds me of Cabo Cantina but a step up. They have two floors with a rooftop. Like 7/8 tables up stairs. And it's a nice view over the rooftop. My friend and I just grabbed some drinks. And chilled upstairs. Some bartender were cool, some very cocky. Drinks are reasonable, pour could be better even with my double shot. I think I need to recommend the liquor from now on. Place is right by Hermosa Beach so a trendy spot!

What can I say about? This place is a Diablo which is very, very fun. It gets crowded around sports event.. the only thing that was different is that you do have to walk up to the bar and what are your food, and I give you a bucket? To take back to your seat. And I bring the food .

Had a great time here on a Saturday afternoon! Before, I had only been here at night time but brunch had very chill vibes with great service. Jay made amazing drinks and was very attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend going to him for special occasions or on a weekend!

If you're ever craving a bomb michelada, must try one from here! Ask for Bartender Jay, his customer service is top tier and is very friendly.

Came here for taco Tuesday. We missed happy hour but they still had great deals. Plus free fresh chips and salsas. Not spicy but very tasty.
I had an avocado taco and a sweet corn cake. Both were delicious. I tried my friends beans and those were also really great.
Had a couple rounds brought to us by Brennan and Tiffany. Excellent service from both. They really went out of their way to answer all our questions. Great job
I'll have to come more often!
