The cupcakes and cheesecakes are all in a beautiful display that wraps around the store. I chose the speculoos cheesecake as it was the most appealing to me as I arrived a bit late in the afternoon and some options had already been sold out.

By far this was the sweetest slice of cheesecake I've had. The filling was rich and creamy, the taste of cinnamon and caramel kept building up until about halfway through where I needed to take a break and sip on my coffee. It was just too sweet and I had yet to touch the frosting topping and cookie. After a bit of water I continued. I managed to finesse a piece of cookie, a sliver of frosting and a bit of cheesecake all onto one pile on my fork resulting in a rush of pleasure as I began to devour it. All that was followed by a loss in taste due to the surge in sugary goodness. It was delicious.

Cupcakes were waaaaaay too sweet here! seems like a popular spot in the area, the line almost went out the door and people kept coming in and out. I think they were too sweet and I had to share one with 2 other friends because I couldn't finish it myself. If you like sweet stuff you'll probably enjoy it more than I did.

First, I scoffed at the idea of paying €16 (Yay! Found the keys for Euro signs!) for a cheesecake. Or to specify, a *mini* cheesecake. It was my only day in the so-called "arts" district, so I figured all the fancy presentation on these goods would have the flavor to back them up.

I ordered the plain cake because the other option was Oreo (lol that's trashy for an expensive place), and grinned with delight as it was put in a box AND then a decorated bag, like I'd just gone shopping for something that would last more than five minutes. It was delicious, with a very hard, dry consistency that was not very sweet. A bit on the tart side, indicating they are liberal with the sour cream, while conservative with the sugar. Definitely a great base for a more complex cake, but even though simple is good, the flavor just wasn't appealing enough for me to give it a full five stars.

If you want a taste that's a bit more complex, totally go for the cupcakes. Especially tiramisu!

If you're an American abroad craving cheesecake then this is the place to go! Their cheesecake was absolutely delicious and rich. I'm picky with my cheesecake since I know that Jr. Cheesecake in NY has the best cheesecake and although Berko's cheesecake can't top Jr.'s it is still very good. They have original cheesecake and other variations which is great.

The cupcakes are good too but as an American I found them tiny and expensive! They are a bit dry compared to American cupcakes but good nevertheless. They have a bunch of flavors so you can let your taste buds go wild in here.

Great place to check out if your taste buds are getting a little homesick and the shop itself is adorable.

Even though their cupcakes are more dry than the typical American standard, they are still delicious and have such a plethora of flavors that you can't NOT like them. And they're mini so the perfect size for trying several...!

DIVINE cheesecake, and honestly it's a great place to go for a mini-cupcake and a café.

Also they are perfect for bringing as desserts to dinners!

Favorite flavors: Raspberry, Pistachio, and Caramel Salted Butter.

We only had the cheesecake and honestly I don't even know which one we had (were thinking it was a banana variety but had a caramel and nuts on top so?) but it was the best cheesecake. Ever. I'm pregnant and have been craving dessert, specifically cheesecake once I saw it written on a board whilst exiting the airport. Tried a few other shops, okay- but most seemed frozen or premade.

Most dessert shops are dedicated to macaroons or gelato... This is all cheesecake (and cupcakes but those didn't look as appealing). I don't even know all the varieties, you just pick based on looks unless you know French.

Was smooth, creamy, not overly sweet. We started with sharing a piece and quickly noted that when we come back (tomorrow--and the next day) we will get our own to avoid another fork fight.

Americanos and espresso available, some outdoor tables, the perfect afternoon stop.

I've been here twice & both times I've been fairly pleased with the quality of their sweets (first time I got the cheesecake & this time the cupcakes) but I don't really think the miniature cupcakes are worth 2,40 euro (both in quality and quantity). The icing on their cupcakes is amazing but their cake portion (of the cupcakes) has room for improvement. The cheesecake was decadent & delicious - far more worth it than the cupcakes.

Berko is in a great location near many restaurants & pubs; they also get bonus points for their large glass displays (inside) where you get to see all of your options (oh the temptation!). The largest drawback of Berko would be the customer service. The staff aren't rude but they're not friendly either. Don't expect them to help you on their own (even when they're available); you'll have to get their attention & request their assistance.

These litlle beauties are not only gorgeous but sinfully delicious as well. I took a box home for a birthday dinner party and they were a huge hit! And what a beautiful way to decorate for a special occasion. I will admit, I may not require any occasion to go back for more ;) Still at least 2 dozen more flavors to try.

Very tiny little cafe and a def recommend.

Decided to stop in as we were early for our dinner nearby. Picked up a couple of cupcakes for dessert. They were pretty good, though not remarkable.
