C and C Body Shop

They did a great job for me after a fender bender with a zip car (not my fault). Enrique set himself apart from the rest with really great service, after the other gentlemen went on vacation.

Not only that, it got done in a day.

My only complaint was that the license plate bracket was not coordinated with the rest of the repair so I had to wait for it and then come in again. But in the grand scheme of things, it worked for me, and the job was done very well.

Note that this is not the same C&C body shop of a year ago, as their management has changed, and so will their name. No matter, I feel I got as good service as I did when they were the old C&C.

One last thing I should mention that heaven forbid anyone have to work with Sedgwick Insurance. That zip car was insured by them and what a lousy firm they seem to be. I waited weeks for them to get their part done, which was to cut me a check, and then right down to the license plate which was mangled in the accident, fo which the lady adjuster told me "I think you can just hammer it flat", instead of coughing up the $20 to replace it.

No resos were needed for an estimate, and it's free. Quick. there's some dudes just around the body shop that kind of creeps me out though. Lower cost that others.

Someone crashed pretty good into the front bumper of my silver Prius in a parking lot. (I included a photo on the C&C page). I chose C&C based on the great reviews in Yelp (they were also an approved service provider for my insurance company), and I have to agree that they were awesome.

Ralph helped me from start to finish and made the process very straightforward. They sent a tow truck right away when I called them. Their office was clean and well-lit, and has a cool exotic fish tank. Once the car was dropped off at their shop, I got one quote based on a visual inspection and then got an updated quote along with photos that same day after I authorized the Teardown Inspection so they could determine if there was additional damage to the chassis.

Throughout the process, Ralph suggested ways I could save money if I wanted, for example, by ordering a remanufactured bumper instead of a brand new one (looks the same). It took about a week to get the repairs done because replacement parts had to be ordered. Whenever I called or emailed for an update, my questions were answered quickly and the staff was pleasant to talk to.

When I picked up my car, I was impressed by the great job they did, but also by how they cleaned the inside and outside of the car. Right before returning the keys to me, Ralph noticed a small patch of the headlight cover which wasn't perfectly polished and buffed, so he told me to hang out for a minute so he could get the polishing materials and make sure it was back to 100% before I left the lot. Thanks!

All in all, they really struck me as a hardworking, friendly, and trustworthy staff. If I ever have other auto body problems, I'm definitely coming back.

I must be unlucky since I've had to use 3 body shops in the last 3 years for non-fault accidents. Sadly, this fender-bender happened to an almost brand new car. C&C was on the AAA approved list, and so I chose it from the great yelp reviews here. I've had a bad experience with a body shop before, so I was anxious about the upcoming one..

I brought it in for the estimate on a Wednesday morning. Ralph saw me right away, and he inspected my car, taking photos of it all around. He printed me an estimate and told me if I wanted to proceed, he'd order the parts, and I could bring my car back on Monday to get started after the parts arrived. Since I wouldn't be paying a dime for it (paid by the other party's insurance), I didn't really care about the price much. I was impressed that even though it was a low speed collision to my front right bumper/fender area, since the wheel was slightly scratched, he added that he would do a tire/wheel alignment to make sure everything was alright.

The following Monday I dropped the car off at the body shop and was picked up by Hertz to get a rental car. I was told it'd take about 3 days.

The body shop contacted me on Thursday morning saying that they finished painting and would finish reassembly soon, so it should be done by 4:30p that afternoon. However, Ralph called me at 4p apologizing that it wasn't done yet and they still needed to do the alignment so it should be done by the next day.

I went to pick up the car on Friday afternoon, driving my rental to the shop first to make sure everything was alright. Sure enough, the car looked awesome. They gave it a nice wash so the car looked brand new again. After finishing the paperwork, I told them that I'd be driving my rental back to Hertz and then get a ride back. Ralph told me I could leave the rental there and he'd call Hertz to have them pick up the car from the shop instead. So I went to gas up the rental and when I got back he said everything was set, and Hertz was coming by to pick up the rental. As I gave him the rental car keys, he told me that I could go there anytime to get a free car wash long as I call ahead. Well, I probably won't take advantage of that, but it goes to show their great service there.

The only ding on this experience was that later on, I noticed there were a lot of smudge marks from dirt or chalk or something on my interiors on the right side door/chair. But I was able to clean it off myself pretty easily so no big deal. What's important is the exterior looks brand new again, new bumper, new fender, new hubcap, new headlamp cover, etc. It's amazing what body shops can do.

Overall, a quality job done by C&C with great service. I would use them again.

I got rear ended and looking for a body shop on yelp. I requested a quote and I wanted all scratches and dents repaired so I asked for the price for everything and he would not even give you a quote, He was asking like 200-300 per scratch and dent, DUDE give me a total price i don't care if it's 1000-5000. I want my car clean.

I WAS ASKING FOR A MAKEOVER PRICE PACKAGE and i don't know every scratch and dent on my car.

Mountain view's best? I think not, I'd rather go to craigslist maybe he can give me a better deal.

THe place is small and full and there's only 2-3 guys working at the shop. You will park your car on the Sidestreet!

YELP reviews are suspicious sometimes....

They are simply the best place for auto repairs in Mountain View. They are top notch in quality and the customer service is second to none.

I had my car fixed there and was more than pleased with the results. Ask for Ray or Ralph for your car repair needs. They'll take care of you.

They also have a computer connected to the internet for customer use in their waiting area.

I had to bring m poor baby (er, car) into the shop because some a-hole truck driver did a hit-and-run and literally tore half of my rear bumper off my car. My poor, innocent, beautiful BMW coupe. ARGH. My insurance, AAA, listed C & C Body Shop as a collision repair vendor in its network; meaning, AAA also guarantees C & C's work. After reading the stellar reviews on C&C Body Shop on Yelp, I decided to give them a try.

The hit-and-run occurred on Tuesday. I drop off my car with C & C on Wednesday. C & C was extremely professional and extremely courteous. They talked through the potential repairs with me, answered my questions, and gave me approximate milestone dates and timelines. They also provided an initial estimate report. Also, C&C gave a call to Hertz, my preferred rental car company, and Hertz came to pick me up so that I could borrow car while my car was being fixed.

I was shocked by how professional, courteous, and time-conscious they were. I've been to a few collision repair body shops in the Bay Area and, even if these shops do good work, I am rarely informed throughout the process and these shops rarely ever stick to their estimated milestones and timelines.

Remember - I dropped of my car on a Wednesday. On FRIDAY OF THE SAME WEEK, I GOT MY CAR BACK. NO JOKE. C & C freakin' FINISHED the repairs on my car in less than 2 freakin' days. WTF. That is UNHEARD of. I've dropped off my car for minor scratches and dents at other body shops and gotten the car back in 2 freakin' weeks. Meanwhile, in this case, half my bumper is tore off and the parking sensor is jacked, and C & C completes its repair work in LESS then 2 days. And AHEAD of schedule. I was supposed to get my car back by end of day; I got it back a couple hours before then. I am still in shock. I think C & C even washed my car, exterior and interior. The floor mats are totally clean; not all janky like how some body shops leave them.

I hope you never need collision / repair work done to your car but, if you do, you need to bring your car to C and C Body Shop. I know I'm not going anywhere else. SOLD.

A few days ago my car was broken into and so I decided to take a look at some local shops to have the repair work done. The reviews here on yelp pointed me towards C and C, just down the street, and after doing some research I crossed my fingers and booked an appointment. Good thing I listened to you all, because they did a great job!

Not only that, but they got the work done both faster and cheaper than advertised, plus the shop owner was really friendly and easy to talk to. I'm hoping I never need their services again, but if I do they're at the top of my list.

I got rear-ended last month and these guys fixed my car in less than 2 days! The back of my car looks brand new. They even gave me a ride home so I didn't have to walk. Love this place. I will refer their services to all my friends.

My car got rear-ended, and AAA suggested C&C. I'm glad I took their suggestion. No appointment needed. Conveniently located near downtown Mountain View, so you can take a stroll if you have to wait a bit. (I waited for a car wash after my car was done.)

Service went above and beyond: car wash whenever you are in the area, drinks in the waiting area, plus they replaced a cracked lamp that wasn't even part of the accident. Great service, Ralph!
