This place is a great alternative to the two big 'Pets stores and has the feeling of a pet loving community who really cares about finding the right things for you and your pet. I've been here three times in rapid succession and each time the staff have been incredibly kind and helpful, recommending products and even in one case, opening something to show me how to use it. The store is clean and organized, with food, toys, medicines, accessories and beds mostly for dogs and cats.
Between the customer service and periodic sales as well as a free loyalty program this place is a must visit for pet owners and fur parents.

Be careful about being lured in by their sales! Many times they don't apply to item's because of other discounts that force you to buy more than you need or want, so you can get the discount. Such a scam!

The store is fine. Decent variety as far as dog food; more limited on cat. They always carry the same exact flavors of frozen cat food, for example. It's been years of the same stuff, even though there are many other flavors available by the manufacturer. There's never that pleasant surprise where you go "Oh wow! How about we try this!?" So now we're branching out and trying other stores.

The website is terrible. You'll be ready to place an order and when you press the Checkout button, it'll say they can't deliver to your address, but what it really means is that they're out of one of the items in your cart. The kicker is that it won't tell you which one. You have to play this game where you "test delete" every item from your cart until your order goes through. Your phone number is always jumbled, regardless of how often you correct it. Seems like a rudimentary issue and a pretty easy fix, yet it's been neglected for over a year maybe two, despite calling HQ. They're aware of it, so not sure what's going on.

Delivery is subpar. You'll get an email notification saying your order will ship soon, but it doesn't give you a window, and it doesn't notify you as to when it's on the way.

I can speak for the cordial employees and the rewards program. That's about it.

Great store and great employees. And they often have great deals. Just wish they catered to more than just dogs and cat. I often need crickets and meal worms for my daughter's lizard and I have to go elsewhere. As a result I sometimes pick up dog items at the stores that have the crickets. Otherwise this place would be perfect.

Thankfully my neighbor knows us and called me to say our dog food was at his house.

I purchased an order to be delivered via ground delivery. After 5 days waiting I sent an email stating I had not received my dogs food and treats. I then received another email stating it had been delivered.
I then called the Burbank store to inquire on my order. I was transferred to Pablo who stated he is the assistant manager. He was unprofessional and seemed to be uninterested in assisting me. I then asked to speak to the manager and he stated he was the manager. I asked about this and he answered in a dismissive tone.
He told me he would need to investigate the delivery and it would take a few days. I asked to have my order delivered today and once they investigate they would see I never received it. I need the food by today as my dogs are out of it. He then gave me a number for an Alan Coh, who is a district manager. He never answered my call.
I then called the Pasadena store and explained my situation. She apologized for Pablo's actions and told me she would get back to me once she speaks with her district manager. She stated that the purchase would be delivered today by 5:30 pm.
DO NOT shop at the Burbank store. Pablo is the rudest AM I have ever encountered.

Called them to see if shut their doors earlier than 8pm, and they said they do not. They always close at 8 sharp... I get there immediately after calling them at 7:58 and they shut the doors. I was really upset

Been coming here since my golden retriever "Tucker"came home this place is always organized and friendly. As big as this place is, it still has that small business feel which I like. If you have a best friend come here to find everything you need.

The staff is amazing here, and I love their selection and their organization. As I was being checked out, the staff was kind to me and even referred me to samples that I had missed, allowed me to take multiple, and even got some cat samples for me (since they only had dog food samples left at the front). My favorite pet store.
