the pho is amazing! especially the broth, doesn't have MSG, and super tasty

the papaya salad is amazing too!

Back in NYC for a spell and B and I wandered into this little Vietnamese place. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside as you go down some stairs to the basement entrance, but inside it's perfectly simple and elegantly laid out and very clean.

We both ordered different kinds of pho and I got their gingerade special. Everything was excellent and delicious, the broth was rich (though my roast pork pho a tad too sweet). This is a bit more on the fast and comfort side of things, but when the pho is decent that bodes well on everything else, kind of like the parmigiana needing to be good at an Italian place...

Might have given it four stars but the service secures the five. Just lovely and attentive servers, good for a smile at B's awful sense of humor, and getting your food and drink promptly.

It's a solid place, give it a visit.

Really delicious pho with very fair price and ambiance. I liked everything in this bowl of pho, from the noodle to the broth. I got the beef pho and added the spicy broth and it really hit the spot. I can't wait to come back for more

Small cozy spot. Ordered summer rolls and pho and both were good. They don't take reservations however so try to come a little early to avoid the dinner rush.

Came here on a rainy Saturday evening and it was pretty busy but the wait wasn't terrible and certainly worth it! It's a pretty small space but very cozy. Our servers were very kind and super attentive. Our food came out very quickly and was delicious. I can definitely see myself coming back here.

We came by before a show and they were able to accommodate 5 of us. There was a short wait when we arrived around 5:45 on a Saturday and maybe a bit longer when we left. The service was professional and attentive and the food was enjoyed by all. We ordered shrimp summer rolls and beef pho and split it three ways before I remembered to take a picture. The broth was delicious and the kids fought over the last piece. We also ordered pork chop and baby bok choy that took just a bit longer than the other items.
There was one bathroom befitting to the hole in the wall feel of the restaurant. The door could use a new coat of paint but it was well stocked with soap and paper towels and roomier than many.

Crazy good food, amazing portion sizes, fast and good service, and overall a great casual spot to swing by for lunch or dinner.
I've been here over 5 times, and it's always too hard to resist getting the lemon grass pork chop, the pork is tender, and incredibly seasoned. It's savory, packed with spices, and has a hint of sweetness, and perfect with rice. I am also a big fan of the banh mi's here, overall a great place and I'll be coming by often

Terrific, 5-star admiral place! I had a day of work meetings and was not feeling the best. Was homesick too and this place came through with delicious Vietnamese food in NYC.

Ordered
- Spring Rolls (5/5). Yummy. This was fresh, crunchy, and savory.
- Bok choy (4/5). Tasted just like home and were the greens that I needed.
- Bo Luc Lac Rice Bowl (5+/5). So good. This is the Vietnamese version of steak & eggs. Ordered a side of noodles too as there were a lot of beef cube chunks to make it into two small dishes. The kale salad was top notched and I appreciated the level of up veggies

Wonderful eatery and nice to see more Vietnamese places up and around the city.

We ordered take out from here yesterday and were very pleased with the flavors, portion sizes and price.

I had the organic tofu bun vermicelli bowl which was delicious. My bf had the brisket bahn mi which he really enjoyed a lot.
