Bon je ne suis pas une fan des bagels mais je mets 4 étoiles de bon coeur pour leur Key Lime (oubliez les tartes au citron à la française, c'est un tout autre type de délice). Ca puise dans les influences cheesecake pour le dessous et dans la tarte au citron pour la crème (en moins fin quand même).

Mais sinon, la manie toute anglo saxonne de glisser des éléments sucrés subrepticement au milieu d'une bonne vieille salade à l'air inoffensif ou bien dans un bagel en qui on a toute confiance, c'est épuisant. Le sucré salé forcené de la cuisine américaine, je n'en peux plus //

Mais je crois que dans ce genre c'est pas mal. Les salades sont énormes en tout cas.

Aussi, c'est marrant de commander, on vous donne une sorte de télécommande qui se met à vibrer pour vous appeler quand c'est prêt. Ludique quoi.

Factory & Co is not a great imitation of a "NY deli". Sorry, it's way too suit-filled, too clean, and too pricey to have any semblance to a real one.

I've eaten here many times for lunch, mostly for convenience, moshing on huge salads and bagels so I think I tried most of the options here. They're all yummy, but hardly "authentic".

First of all, the bagels are fresh, but a little too soft and doughy for my taste. I like firmer crusts on my bagels. Also, the bagel here is more like a cleverly named bagel sandwich filled with stuff. The bagel itself is hardly the star.

Second of all, where my cream cheese at? I'm talking about vegetable, chive and blueberry cream cheese, not too mention, the missing tofutti for the vegans. I think there are only two "bagel sandwiches" that offer cream cheese...and one is paired with apples. Yeah....

That said, if you're looking for a quick, healthy lunch in the 13th that's kind of American, this is the first place I would go. And if you're missing New York salad bars, this will do in a pinch as well.
