Hotel Ibis Paris Porte d'Italie

It's not a bad hotel if all you're looking for is a place to put your head down at night. Not many amenities, breakfast in the morning for a fee.

Rooms were clean enough, but not much in the way of space.

Showers have a glass wall but not a full door so be careful when you shower otherwise the floor will get very wet.

There is a hair dryer but it sounds more like a vacuum.

Walls are thin so be mindful of how much noise you make and maybe bring some earplugs for the noise you can't control.

Closest metro is about a 10 minute walk, but Uber will pick up and drop off at the front door.

Make sure you bring your own power outlet adapter because if you're not from Europe you're going to need it.

Staff is friendly and helpful with answering questions or getting you what you need. If you need something put in a safe they can do that for a fee.

WORST HOTEL EVER!!!! When I came to the hotel I thought the lobby was nice and well presented but when I talked to the receptionist they were RUDE and didn't care for my well being. When I walked into my room I saw that there was mold all over the walls in the corner. There were so many flies and cockroaches in the room. There were also bedbugs in my bed and when I woke up I had a lot of bites all over my legs and arms. Another thing I have to say about my room is it smelled like poop and pee and it was DISGUSTING! I also saw a piece of poop on the floor. When I asked and told the receptionist about this they denied it and told me to deal with it and they couldn't do anything about it. Overall i would NEVER come back to this hotel when I visit because of my experience here. I don't recommend going here at all unless you'd like to sleep with a pee scent.

Newly built hotel - when booking it might be confusing as they have several hotels in Paris. The continental breakfast is very good (excellent mini croissants, fresh fruit, juices). Their coffee machine could use a slight boost in flavor, otherwise great eats. It's a definite euro hotel, very efficient and clean and contempo charm, no-nonsense. The pillows are good for poly blend, but the beds need a bit more softness - and it would be a five star for this level of affordability.

This is an ok hotel. There is only one thing I don't like.

I've sat at the bar multiple times and only two employees out of the 9 I've seen in rotation working here here come over and help me. I've always wanted the same thing, a croissant. However, it appears as if the other 7 employees don't see me or just don't come over. I'm actually sitting here right now. And I've typed this whole thing and no one has come over.
That's about it.

The room was clean, but the a/c did not work very well and so we rented a fan for 10 euros. Staff was ok until our last day in which the receptionist got mad at us for not having the receipt for the fan in order for us to get our refund back. She started to talk angrily in french to her coworker right in front of us. We thought this was rude. If you are going to work with tourists then manners are very important.


La chambre était propre, mais la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas très bien et nous avons donc loué un ventilateur pour 10 euros. Le personnel était ok jusqu'à notre dernier jour où la réceptionniste s'est fâchée contre nous pour ne pas avoir reçu le reçu du ventilateur afin que nous puissions récupérer notre remboursement. Elle a commencé à parler avec colère en français à son collègue juste devant nous. Nous avons pensé que c'était impoli. Si vous allez travailler avec des touristes, les bonnes manières sont très importantes.

A newish hotel that is basic and a bit far from the center of Paris, but still reliable. It comes with free internet and free breakfast, so big major pluses. The breakfast was actually really enjoyable. I always found myself getting up to get more from the breakfast buffet. My favorite selection were the jams. Just lovely~ The elevators are actually quite small though, so you'll usually end up in close quarters with another guest. All-in-all, ot was a decent hotel. Just too far from most of the activity in the city.

I have stayed in this hotel 8 times now. It is in a great location for the RER, metro, and tram lines. Usually we took the tram to Cite Universitaire RER. The breakfast here is wonderful, the staff is helpful. The rooms are a little small, but they are modern and very clean. An extra elevator would help, especially in the morning, but I love staying here.

This hotel is pretty nice. The rooms are very small, which is a big negative. However, the room was clean and modern. The hotel has decent skyline views of Paris, which was nice. The hotel was not too far from the Métro and RER. The breakfast there was really nice and had a great selection. The staff was really nice and friendly. My sheets had a weird stain on them which I found while sleeping. Without even asking (because I forgot) they changed the stained sheet when the room was cleaned. The bathroom was clean and had a great shower. I would recommend this hotel again to anyone visiting Paris.
