My dog Sarabi recently completed K9 Logics 8 week board and train program and we are thrilled with the results! From the first consultation, we were impressed by their knowledge of dog behavior, training methods, clear communication. They took the time to understand Sarabi's unique personality and designed a training program specifically for her.

The board and train program was intensive, but K9 Logic sent us regular updates with videos and photos, so we always felt connected to Sarabi and were able to track her progress. When we picked her up, it was like getting a whole new dog! Her confidence has improved dramatically and has translated into our day to day life. She now walks calmly on leash, listens to commands, is more relaxed around guests (we'll keep working on this one with their group training classes!)

The trainers also coached us on how to maintain Sarabi's training at home. They provided follow-up sessions to address any questions and made sure we felt confident in our ability to keep her on track.

We can't recommend K9 Logic highly enough. They are true professionals who care deeply about dogs and their owners. If you're looking for a solution to your dog's behavioral problems, look no further! 5-star experience all around!

This is the best dog training facility/ team that exists. My family has been training their dogs with K9 since 2020 and I recently brought my 3 year old rescue for training and am so impressed with everything and everyone. My dog and I learn so much from our trainer during every session and I can't get enough. I continue to add training sessions just to stimulate my dog once a week. Their facility is beautiful and always so clean and very safe. I highly recommend k9 for any dog, any breed at any age! They truly know their stuff!! Paco loves you all!!

This is gonna be a long one...

Brought my dog here in the past when he was a puppy for an obedience board and train, but we were told that he's 2 weeks too old for the puppy program. So we were forced to do the full board and train program. Chris was very informative during the orientation and introduction appointment and showed us that he was able to do what we wanted in training our dog. We wanted to teach our dog off leash recall and healing.

We decided to go with the 5 week board and train program after he said that he'll work on recall and heeling on walks. He had also promised us to send weekly update videos and keep us informed on how he's doing. We thought nothing of it as it was our first time doing something like this. We asked for an update video a few days in whether it was a 10 sec video or even a 30 sec one, but we're told that the trainers are busy and can't do anything like that. What do you mean? You record videos for your social media all the time. Just record a clip and send it to us as worried and curious owners.

After harassing the front desk (who by the way was extremely rude) for updates via email and phone calls; Chris gave us a call and told us that if we were going to to keep calling asking for updates that he would have to stop the board and train because we were "asking for too much". So we shut our mouths and decided to just listen to him and trust him.

We received a total of 4 update videos ranging from 20-45 seconds in the span of 5 weeks. Come pickup day for our dog we were excited to finally see him
And see how much he had learned. This fucking guy taught him sit, down, stay, heel, and up in the 5 weeks he's been there. We asked for a demonstration without the e-collar and he stated that the e-collar is "insurance". You're telling me 5 weeks of vigorous training and you still can't get him to perform those basic commands without an e-collar? Okay chris whatever you say.

Within the week of our dog being home we had to take him to the vet because he had lost weight, was sluggish, and contracted an infection of some kind. He was prescribed 2 weeks worth of antibiotics. Didn't come from us Chris! When we called and complained about that he offered us a free group training session and then proceeded to give me shit for bringing my dog with a harness instead of an e collar and slip lead.

We could just be the outlier in this scenario and had a bad experience, but we referred a friend of ours there too who also had the same experience as us and hated every second of it.

Waste of thousands of dollars and empty promises. Hated very second of it and don't know how all these other families are trusting him with their pets.

TLDR; Don't bring your dog here.

I cannot recommend K9 Logic highly enough! My experience with the Board and Train Program for my beloved Lab mix, Lucy, has been nothing short of incredible. Under the expert guidance of Shea, my dedicated trainer, I witnessed remarkable transformations in Lucy's behavior.

From the very beginning, Shea was exceptional in keeping me informed about what to expect throughout the entire training process. I eagerly anticipated her weekly updates, complete with pictures and videos showcasing Lucy's impressive progress.

In our first lesson upon Lucy's return I was astounded by the array of skills she had acquired during her stay. Shea took the time to not only train Lucy but to educate me as well. I left with a ton of knowledge, feeling confident in my ability to continue her training at home. Lucy's enthusiasm for the training was palpable, and our lessons were not only informative but also a ton of fun. Shea's patience and kindness were instrumental in helping me navigate this journey. She answered all my questions and equipped me with the tools to continue the training effectively incorporating the leash and ecollar.

Lucy's behavioral issues, such as overexcitement and excessive energy, made walks a real challenge. She used to pull me relentlessly, barking and lunging at other dogs. At home, her penchant for counter surfing, sock chewing, and boisterous barking at visitors at the front door were our main concerns.

Fast forward to today, and Lucy is a remarkably well-behaved dog. I couldn't be happier with our progress. Our newfound ability to go on walks together without her pulling me is a true joy, and the bond between us has deepened significantly.

K9 Logic has truly worked wonders for Lucy, and we eagerly anticipate attending group classes and delving into more advanced training. Thank you for making such a positive difference in our lives!

      impressed and grateful,
      Cathy

This review is long overdue. I was a client at K9 Logic two years ago I believe. I have an 80lb mixed breed dog (50% German shepherd, 25% pitbull, sprinkled with Staffordshire terrier and Rottweiler) who had already graduated from basic obedience and had done some additional training (on my own) with an e-collar I purchased from Amazon. At the time, I had several friends who were training their dogs here and they were all so phenomenally behaved so I decided to give them a try.

I took him in for an evaluation with a gentleman (I forgot his name but I think he was the owner). He educated me on how they train dogs, their use of slip-leashes and e-collars, and their importance in the role of negative reinforcement in more advanced dog training (don't worry, there is a lot of positive reinforcement too). He was very confident and knowledgeable and it was amazing to see how he handled my dog. My dog is extremely food motivated and quite intelligent so he was picking things up very quickly in the evaluation. We discussed some of my training goals for my dog, which included intermediate obedience (heel, down, down-stay, place, touch, up, down, impulse control, agility) and above all addressing two very important behavioral problems: his tendency to run towards scuffles at dog parks and his high prey drive. The owner suggested 8 sessions given some of these issues.

Now, K9 Logic is pricey. However, in my opinion, the prices they charge are reasonable for the knowledge and training they provide. Trust me when I say that you will walk away from your training with them with a transformed pup. You will have to buy a Mini Educator e-collar and slip leash if you do not have those items. If you are deterred by the thought of using an e-collar then either you have been misinformed or have heard myths. K9 Logic educated me on its proper use. The e-collar shock levels range from 0-99. We started at 4 and I have never gone above 15.

I got to work with Diana. She was a great trainer, showing me how to do things and explaining her rationale, and then having me practice it in session with her. After you leave every season, you have homework for the week. If you think training your dog takes a long time, then again you have either been misinformed or heard myths. I trained my dog everyday, twice a day, for only 10-15 minutes a time. As he became more advanced in his skills, our training sessions at home (and outside of the home) grew in duration.

Initially, we started working in the little gym they have. I learned how to hold the e-collar, how to use it, when to apply a shock and when not to, and how to treat my dog. I learned language to communicate with my dog and let him know that he needed to come to me and when I was coming to him. As he gained more skills, our training moved outside of their gym to the local Home Depot and a park full of people and squirrels. He did extremely well in these very distracting environments. By the time I was done, I had a much calmer, more focused dog. I was a doctoral student at the time and after this training, I was able to bring my dog to 2-hour long classes where he would simply lie down, sleep, and wait for me to finish. Everyone was impressed, including peers who had seen him before we embarked on this journey with K9 Logic.

I not only gained a much more well behaved dog, but I got to bond with my dog a lot. He eventually stopped running to scuffles and has improved a great deal on his prey drive; the latter I don't believe will ever go away.

The only suggestion I have for K9 Logic is to have an agility course that is more basic and that can be used to build a dog up to the more advanced agility course they have. My dog attempted their agility course but it was too scary for him. He was not confident enough and not ready. They also told me I could teach my dog agility via playgrounds at parks; however, I did that and one time, my dogs nail got caught on the playground and he jumped off and ripped his nail off, causing him to bleed everywhere (it was a hot mess). I never went back to a playground after that. Other than this, I was happy with my experience.

My sister and I adopted Butters, a Pitbull mix, when he was just a puppy, and it turned out to be the best decision we ever made. Butters has transformed into a calmer, happier, and truly incredible companion, all thanks to the exceptional work we've done with Chris from K9 Logic. We can't express our gratitude enough.

Recognizing the unique responsibilities of owning a Pitbull, we aspired for Butters to be a breed ambassador. However, his high intelligence and stubbornness initially made our days with him quite exhausting. Enter Chris, and everything changed. In just three sessions, Butters blossomed, becoming a different dog right after our very first training session.

What sets Chris apart is that he didn't just focus on training Butters; he also emphasized reshaping the dynamics between Butters and us, his owners. Chris's ability to seamlessly communicate various training methods proved invaluable for us to continue the work at home. We now feel more knowledgeable and confident as dog owners, all thanks to Chris's approach in every session. The proof is in the pudding; we regularly receive compliments on Butters' impeccable behavior when we're out in public, and this credit goes entirely to Chris's talent as a trainer.

But it's not just about the training; Chris treats Butters as if he were his own, and the affection is mutual. There's no one Butters is more thrilled to see than Chris, and witnessing the special bond they share warms our hearts.

We can't recommend Chris enough as a trainer. Even after our formal training sessions concluded, we still feel comfortable reaching out to him for any questions about Butters or the advice he has to offer. Chris is a true gem of a person and an absolute rockstar when it comes to dog training. Thank you, Chris, for everything you've done for us and Butters!

The trainers at k9 logic are phenomenal. They're extremely knowledgeable and patient. More importantly you can tell that they love dogs. I had the great opportunity of working with Dom. My puppy, Winnie, absolutely fell in love with him. He was gentle and patient with her as she went through obedience training. I recommend k9 logic and recommend working with Dom!

I can't stress enough how grateful my husband and I are that we found Chris and K9 Logic!

We rescued a 2 year old husky shepherd mix who was found as a stray and knew we needed all the help we could get. Before coming to K9 Logic, Luna had mega separation anxiety and this manifested into destructive tendencies. She ate part of our couch and warped her metal crate from biting.

Our goal for Luna was to provide her structure, training, and increase her confidence levels which were the source of her anxiety. We wanted to be better owners and trainers so that she could be the best and happiest dog she could be.

Chris and his staff were amazing and gave us all the tools we needed to start Luna off on her journey with us. We decided to go with the three week board and train after our initial evaluation! We were already going out of town and aligned her training with our trip. We got the CUTEST update videos showing her amazing progress!

We just got her back and can't wait to use the wealth of tools that Chris has provided us to keep up with her training. Since Luna is an alumni, K9 Logic provides exclusive boarding! We wouldn't trust her with anyone else.

We are signing up for private classes and are looking forward to becoming members of the K9 Logic family! Thank you from Max, Myan, and Luna.

We spontaneously adopted a 5 year old husky (Haku)from the shelter and soon discovered a couple of problems. He was aggressive towards our two cats and barked at any dogs he saw.

After just the initial eval with Chris, we learned how to get Haku to sit while on leash. On our evening walk later that day, Haku sat quietly while I ran into a neighbor with his dog. Amazing

We got paired with Dom as our trainer. Dom is awesome! always engaged and informative. He was great with Haku. Dom would often spend extra time making sure I didn't have any questions and summarizing the sessions. We've gotten Haku to pay attention to us more and be less reactive to other dogs.

We still need quite a bit of work with our pup, we can't leave him unsupervised with our cats and sometimes he's still a rascal when he sees other dogs, but he is way better. Chris and Dom have given us the tools we need to keep progressing. Highly recommend

My fiancé and I can't recommend K9 enough! We have a Blue Heeler puppy (Indigo) - and if you know anything about cattle dogs, they are HIGHLY energetic and require consistent physical and mental stimulation. We tried the DIY version of training from YouTube but it only covered the basics. Indigo still was quite vocal and expressive, would pull on the leash during walks, jump to greet us and counter surf when we ate on the table. Our goal was to manage all of that and also work our way to off-leash with him. We researched local training facilities, found K9 Logic and were instantly sold on the Private Training packages. We submitted the contact form and within a week we were scheduled a 1hr consultation with Chris.

In that meeting alone, he already taught us valuable tools and techniques to improve our communication. We had been using a Stim Collar with Indigo, but he showed us the proper and most beneficial ways to utilize it. After this meeting, we decided to go with the 8-week private course (1hr/week).

In our first session Indigo came home a brand new pup! He learned loose leash walking in an hour - ONE HOUR! Our minds were blown and as new puppy parents, we were so incredibly grateful.

In just 8-weeks, Indigo's mastered leash manners and we've gained confidence in off-leash, he remains calm when greeting us and meeting new humans/dogs, he stays in "place" for long periods with distractions, his recall and our communication significantly improved, and more. We even did a pack hike at the end and Indigo did amazing - something we wouldn't have felt as comfortable with prior. We've taken him to public places and he is able to stay calm and attentive to us.

What I appreciated most is Chris was flexible with Indigo's needs throughout the training. There were sessions where we had pre-planned to train a specific area, but he would notice Indigo needed more work with something else, so we'd pivot to work on that instead. He genuinely cares about the relationship between you and your dog. He educates you on the why and knowledge of his training which I believe is important to better help owners understand. Because of this, we're able to apply the techniques we learned to maintain and train in other areas beyond the 8-week session.

TLDR - If you need any kind of help managing and communicating with your pup or dog, RUN to K9 Logic. ABSOLUTELY worth the investment and time!

      Thank you so much,
      Alyssa, Jose and Indigo
