Amazing falafel pita sandwiches here stuffed to the BRIM with amazing falafel, veggies, and tahini. We got our food very fast and it was amazing. I highly recommend and would definitely return.

Charming place set in the 4th.
If Portland Oregon decided to flee the US, and seek a French Golden Visa, it would choose to settle here, parking its food trucks into this building.
It serves a delicious pita of falafel with delicious vegetables to make any Israeli moderately happy being outside Tel Aviv.
Impressive.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 22 sept. 2019
Was hoping to try the L'As du Falafel, but an expected bathroom flooding caused them to close. This place was nearby and ranked solidly on Yelp. It lived up to the 3.5 star reputation; tasty but not necessary something to go out of your way for.
Pita Mixte: The chicken shawarma was awesome. It tasted so rich, it could have easily been chicken confit. And they got a nice sear on it too. Meanwhile, the falafel itself was a tad disappointing. Not crispy at all, kinda thin and long. The other veggies and sauces were fine; the roasted eggplant was especially notable.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 793894829 déc. 2021
Amazing amazing amazing falafel. It is next to Las Dus, and I know there is always a debate about which is better, but I am solidly in King Falafel's camp. I love this place and their falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, nothing is ever overcooked, the seasoning is fantastic, the drop or two of red sauce is all you need to feel alive.

Rude aggressive owner
Empty restaurant
Def don't go if you have family or ladies.
So we went to that area for falafel, there were 3 options this and the other 2( other 2 were great), so this place was empty and that came first so I went in to get a beer and my wife and kids were waiting outside and they saw big line next door so we thought let's go check it out.
Well, I paid for my beer and asked them if I could use their bathroom I wanted to pee, I used their bathroom, than went next door to eat one of the MOST amazing falafel ever.
While we were eating outside -
The Owner of this pace marched towards me and was so angry that I used their bathroom (which I bought beer from) and was eating a $5 felafel next door.
He started yelling and swearing in front of my 4 and 6 years old and my wife. He was waiting outside all day long to see how many customers the other store had and he had none.
No wonder he has no customer. He don't deserve customers.
Also besides the rudeness their place was crap.
Don't go there go where the lines are.
Use his bathroom tho. That will make him more upset.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Annika H.Mitte, Berlin, Allemagne7161319 sept. 2021
The Falafel plate was very tasty, but the hummus could've some more lemon. Waiting time was very quick tho!

I agree with a few other reviewers here that the servers don't attend to you right away but whatever; it is what it is. Their food is good and they are pretty busy so they don't care as much as other places.
Overall had a good experience. They're portions are large and they're food isn't oily- where you feel heavy and in a food coma.
Le Marais is a cute little district you can hang out and shop in. Some stores/restaurants are closed on sabbath so may not be the best day to come here.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Abigail S.Vancouver, Canada55480134719 mai 2017
This part of the Marais can be a cramped convergence of foot traffic from the Pompidou, the Place des Vosges, and the many other shops that are clustered around, but King Falafel is a little beacon where you know that you can get a solid takeaway meal that will fuel you for the rest of the day. There is another adjacent falafel place that the New York Times has raved about and that has high reviews, but King Falafel is open more regularly, and is still a fine choice.
Step up to the to-go window and place your order. Even a basic falafel pita is still a massive handful of food, including crispy tasty falafel rounds topped with shredded cabbage, cucumber, tomato, frizzled onions, grilled eggplant, and a liberal dressing of tahini. Paired with a cold can of Coke and you are in business. If you are taking the sandwich away, grab extra napkins because the tahini is liable to leak.
Pro-tip: If you don't want to eat standing up, amid a zoo of people, walk back towards to the Place des Vosges, on the Rue de Francs Bourgeois. You will soon come upon a little enclosed park on your right with benches. This a nice quiet spot to enjoy your meal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
