Met some family here last week as we were passing through the area.
We started with the Maple Bourbon Glazed pork. This was insane. The pork was tender, and the flavor hit the right notes. I considered ordering a 2nd one as my entree.
I had the chicken & and waffles, and my wife had the harvest salad. Both had great flavors. The chicken & waffles were a little on the small side but not mad at it.
Definitely would stop back in while passing through the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 27 avr. 2024
Great time celebrating my birthday at the Kitchen Social in Montgomery. My friend made a reservation and glad she did because the restaurant filled up on an early Saturday dinner.
Our waitress was great very attentive. We got drinks right away. One thing notice my friend got Prosecco and I got rose Prosecco. Her poor was twice as big as mine.
We started with the guacamole and queso. We really enjoyed the red, roasted pepper queso, and my friend loved the cheddar biscuits. They were little too cornbread for me.
I enjoyed the Schezwan chicken and had plenty leftover, another friend went with the Thai chicken pasta & another had the house salad with salmon. She also had a side of fingerling potatoes with kale.
We all really enjoyed our meal and then surprise me with a cake and the staff lit candles on the cake. They were very attentive checking in on us we will be back for a future visit easy parking in the garage next to the restaurantHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - EJ D.Cincinnati, États-Unis13279 avr. 2024
There is nothing special about this place. I was intrigued, cause I always see people eating but it's a disappointment.
We went around brunch time and I had a bad vibe that the service will be bad from the very beginning. We sat and waited for 10-15 minutes before our waiter greeted us. Grant it, it was not busy. So many tables open and so many waiters standing around.
During our wait for our server, the couple next to us were already complaing after their food got served cause I quote, the lady said "my potatoes are ice cold". We watched her get served another plate of potatoes, still waiting for out server.
I got the shrimp bowl with rice, the rice was cold. My niece got chicken and waffle, and she said it was weird. It looked like it was missing a piece of chicken, she said the waffles were like eggo microwavable and she said, why does my waffles have scallions on it and melted cheese! It was so bleh.
Not coming back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 6 mai 2024
Well first let me say this has been on my radar since they opened and I recommend to get reservations. There is open seating at the bar. When i walked in Hostess immediately greeted and was nice. I canceled my table and grabbed a chair at the bar. Bar is two sided so plenty of seats. Plenty of groups of 2 & 3 at the bar. Spacious which i appreciated. Ambiance is very bright with lighting but not over bearing. Bar tender super nice, was on top of their area. The menu is definitely an eclectic mix but everything I saw come out looked good. I ordered a sangria, fish and chips and the brown butter cake with an added scoop of vanilla ice cream. Fish and chips was perfect portion as I was hungry but not starving. The bar tender recommended their butger which i will come back and try. My food was hot and fresh, everything was seasoned. Cake was a delicious ending. Will most definitely be back!

Spicy marg, guac and queso, and shrimp tempura bowl all 15/10. I loved the ambiance and our waitress was the sweetest ever! I'd definitely recommend swinging through if you're in the Montgomery area!

The Cheddar + Scallion Biscuits are a must! Served warm in a small cast iron crock with melting butter on top.. can't go wrong and serves 5. The Montgomery location is new and I was impressed the service was outstanding. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions to our party. Even convinced us to try a dessert - the Chocolate Cake to share, which was fantastic if you can save room!
I would recommend calling to make a reservation as it was crowded (even on a weeknight).Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 2 mars 2024
We enjoyed a Girls night out at kitchen social. The food was delicious! And Patrick our service was excellent!
We ordered Szechuan noodles (good spice level, a tad extra oily but tolerable, and plenty of veggies), double burger (cooked to order, toasted bun) was ordered with side salad and fries (crisp and hot!), a crispy chicken salad (good portion, chicken tenders were crispy and juicy. Ended dinner sharing the a chocolate cake! Smaller than I anticipated but it makes up for it with flavor. The caramel and pretzel topping gave it a sweet/salty combo that was top notch. I wonder though if it would be good as a brownie with ice cream too. I also enjoyed a tequila thyme; too sweet for my tastes but still delicious.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 10 mai 2024
Kitchen Social is new to the Montgomery area and certainly worth stopping in for their vast selection of American and Italian based items. They have a full bar and televisions to watch games as well as good bar tenders who craft amazing drinks. This also has a open air concept so lots of space when the weather is nice out. This location stays busy so certainly plan ahead and book a reservation! Cheers

Five stars for service. Our waiter was excellent and helped us with dinner recommendations. We tried the cheddar scallion biscuit appetizer with honey butter. It was an indulgent treat we wouldn't have tried without his suggestion. My husband enjoyed the Thai chicken bowl (it had a nice spicy kick). I opted for the grilled chicken salad. The chicken was delicious, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The salad itself was a disappointment. The dressing was bland, (like straight mayonnaise to my tastebuds. My husband tried it and agreed). The manager was making rounds asking how everything was and I was honest about my impression of the dressing. He offered me another salad and I declined but he said, what if I don't take no for an answer with a friendly smile. He came back before we left with a different salad to try at home - the salmon salad with cilantro vinaigrette. The waiter returned with a small cup of the buttermilk ranch dressing and it tasted different than what was on my salad. Had I had that dressing, my salad would have been delicious.
It's been a while since I was in a restaurant where they genuinely seem to care that you have a good experience and enjoy your food, so five stars to Kitchen Social. Caring goes a long way with me. I'll be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
