What's cooler then going to see TV on the Radio live??? Going to see them live half way across the globe in Paris!

Maybe it was the music, maybe it was the fact that we were in Paris, but I loved this little theater. It was very similar to the Moore, it terms of space, but newer and more modern.

The front door and ticketing staff were very nice. There is a great selection of beer and wine available for sale, and reasonably priced.

One of the coolest part of this experience were the patrons. Parisians are huge on manners. Being 5'2" I never get GA tickets, because in the states it makes for a miserable concert experience. I have to try and look over some tall heads and throw elbows to make sure folks don't destroy my feet. NOT the case in Paris! Much more civilized, no one pushed to get to the front, everyone respected your personal space. People just settled into their selected spots and stayed there to enjoy the show and let everyone else enjoy it with them.

      We had an awesome time!

It's a great place for a concert. There's not thousands of people, so everywhere in the room you see the performer. The angle of the floor is good enough in order you, even if you are at the back of the hall, see the stage correctly.
      Enjoy your time there!

During a recent visit to Paris I attended a gig here and thought the venue was good for music, it had a nice relaxed atmosphere but I was far from impressed after learning that my camera was not allowed in the venue. I found this experience confusing and alarming when people where escorted out of the event for having a camera, a waste of money for something that wasn't clearly advised prior to attending the event. The bar was average with very limited alcoholic drinks available.

This is a wonderful, classic theater. This is the place you want to see your favorite band or performer. The venue is relatively small and personal. Pricing is reasonable even for the most popular performers. I bought tickets online and had no difficulty when we arrived to see the show. The queue out front is organized and managed well by staff. Quality drinks are available inside. The Paris Metro line conveniently empties out right next to the theater. For as fast moving and unapproachable as Parisians can be at times, I found them to be polite and civilized in public, it is very pleasant. In California, at times people can be downright unfriendly on a good day and at a concert they are even worse, territorial and rude, leading to unnecessary stress. Parisians show a respect to others in public that made attending the concert here at L'Olympia refreshingly enjoyable and relaxing. We saw Pink Martini here at L'Olympia and the show felt intimate and exciting to me. Go out of your way to check and see what shows are on their schedule if you are in Paris. I don't believe you will be disappointed.

I had the best time riding the Paris Metro with you, something I will never forget. I still have a couple Metro tickets in my wallet, that I keep as a smile inducing reminder of our time in Paris. 8

Salle mythique : okay. Son de très bonne qualité : okay. Mais afin d'apprécier un concert, il vaut mieux être debout. ou au 1er rang de la mezzanine. Et j'ajouterai qu'on ne voit absolument rien quand on est au fond.

It's got a classic, mythic vibe that is probably supposed to speak to me if I were French. The big red letters out front are supposed to be iconic, but I prefer a standard marquee. It's actually a pretty nice venue, with a really cute woman working the coat check, and lots of space to stand in. I saw Stuck in the Sound, and it was great. It was also quite endearing to hear the French crowd sing along to the English lyrics, especially when they started singing Empire State of Mind.
