A beautiful little cafe with great service, and not expensive. The raclette was fabulous.

The chicken with morel mushrooms was delicious. Service was great, and all were friendly. Even to a solo traveler while sitting at their bar seating.

We tried the raclette. You need a minimum of two people and it's more than enough food so don't even think about getting a starter. You'll be sorry you did.
The raclette comes with charcuterie and a green salad. While the cheese is heating up and melting, you dig into these two first and as the cheese starts to melt onto a plate, you can start eating the raclette with the potatoes.
We still had quite a bit of cheese left at the end so I asked the waiter what they did with the leftovers. They apparently throw it all away! The waitstaff take as much as they can but how much cheese can a person eat!? He offered to let us take the rest with us and he kindly wrapped it up to go. If you have leftover food, do ask to take it with you. It goes to show you how things are changing in France when this type of thing is ok.
The waitstaff were excellent. Totally on top of things despite how busy it was. The most unfortunate thing about the restaurant is that it's full of french cliches, from the decor to the music to the staff uniforms. It feels like a throwback from the 70s. Maybe time to join the 21st century with a revamp?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alex H.Houston, États-Unis279014021 sept. 2017
I was here on a work trip....not a huge fan of the food. I never turn down cheese, and did not eat some of the cheeses here.
In their defense, the menu is in French and I probably didn't understand 100% what I was ordering. Either way, I've eaten food at other places and all types of cuisine and good food is good food; regardless of what language the menu is. So I hold my opinion that would not go back here despite the various unknown dishes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brian H.Manhattan, États-Unis0314912 août 2019
This was hit and miss. Went on a Friday night and had an excellent meal with great service. Returned on a Sunday night and the service was terrible - the waiters spent most of their time chatting at the bar - and the food was much blander.
I had the exact same meal both days, so I can judge. Incidentally, I hadn't planned it to be the same , but the careless waiter didn't pay attention the second night and brought me the wrong steak, ironically the same as on day one. It was steak with shallots, which on day two tasted steamed rather than sauteed.
I'll likely return, but with some hsitation rather than eagerly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 78137571235 juil. 2015
Road trip - everyone is tired - but no one knows the town? Yelp to the rescue! We relied on the rave recommendations and steered ourselves in. Traditional Savoyarde cuisine and while my friends dug into the raclettes I feasted on tete de veau (calf's head). Delicious and provincial.

Great French food from the region. Baguette, crackers, and cornichon to start. Gratin dauphinois and raviolis were awesome!!! Steak with shallot sauce was ok. Dessert was ok- we got fondant au chocolat and mousse au chocolat.

One of my favorite restaurants in town!
The perfect place for a true french food experience. The cuisine is focused on the Alps local food. I definately recomend the raclette...a must have! The fondue and the stake are quite good as well.
Staff is friendly and service is good.
One of the greatest features besides the food is the decor. The ambience is completly decorated with a regional theme, in every detail.
Although it isn't very cheap, it is a great option for dinner at all times. Super recomended, a must go in Grenoble!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Luiza M.Rio de Janeiro, Brésil0524 janv. 2016
More than a restaurant, it is a touristic destination. The restaurant offers a true Grenobloise experience through deliciously tasting traditional food, a cozy atmosphere, and great service. I would recommend the raclette, the restaurant's most famous dish!
