Has not changed to a gastro pub! They have a brewery but it's separate from the restaurant. The restaurant is GREAT. Super fresh from the seafood market and the garden is an oasis of delicious food and wine if you are stuck overnight at Orly. 11 minutes away from the airport!

We came as tourists at Paris, expecting typical full-course French cuisine. First course was seafood platter which included stone crabs, shrimps, oysters, sea snails, presentation was really good, stone crabs were fine, shrimps were small but tasted fresh, oysters and sea snails were small. The main course we had fish and duck leg and fish, duck leg was good with good portion , but the fish was not as good and tasted bland. Fois grad tasted creamy.

Came with my mom and my sister. We got a duck leg for the main entree and the meat was pretty tender and good. The servers were a tad bit forgetful but generally quite nice and welcoming. The fois gras wasn't the best part of the meal since it tasted a bit like mushy meat? The seafood platter was quite large with crabs, shrimp, sea snails and mussels. We ate it heartily. We ate a dessert called floating island at the end and it seems to be made of egg whites and had this sweet sauce around it. While it didn't suit my tastes, many others like it. We also ate escargot, it was quite garlicky but pretty good!

Delicious food, warm and professional staff, and an atmosphere with a fairly fancy setting but having comfort in mind. Started with a glass of champagne and a bottle of eau minérale bottle. Had endless servings of the delicious rustic dinner buns. They brought out a complimentary amuse bouche of a thick creamy seafood infused starter in a mini shot cup serving. Ordered 2 entrées of foie gras mi cuit served cold with toasted raisin bread, balsamic reduction and chutney. Then we proceeded with shrimp salad with endive and slices of mandarines. The truffle salad with puréed beets, sliced avocados was amazing as well. We ordered a dozen of oysters for 39€ that was incredibly fresh. Ending the meal with the île flottante with caramel sauce, sesame brittle and toasted crunchy candied almonds. Additionally they gave us coconut macaroons and mini bread crumbs coated with chocolate as a thank you. What a delightful evening dining at this establishment. I found them thru TripAdvisor. Definitely recommended to friends and family! Bill came out to $118 after a $40 discounts on ala carte plates ordered through an online deal

Rating should be 3 and 1/2 but it's a pleasing restaurant with good and polite service which seems to be almost a rarity in Paris nowadays.
Food is well served and taste good, price / quality ratio a bit unbiased toward the price, but hey you are in Paris aren't you?!?! and it seems that you should be reminded of at first chance.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Susan L.Manhattan, États-Unis3164628344 mai 2015
The assorted seafood platter was only alright since the oysters were small, but the shrimps were extremely fresh. The foie gras (duck liver) tasted pretty good, it has a smooth texture to it. The escargots were delicious; 1 plate is definitely not enough for me. =( I WANT MOREEEE!!! As for the entree, the fish was mediocre (it would definitely be better if the skin was crispy) The steak wasn't bad, but it wasn't evenly cooked- only the middle was cooked nicely, the sides were all overcooked. I thought the best entree was the duck. It was cooked nearly perfect (moist and not overcooked.) As for the dessert- the floating island, which is a dessert consisting of meringue floating on a vanilla custard called crème anglaise. It was soo yummy and fluffy- what a good way to end the meal. Overall, choose the duck over the fish and steak and you will be satisfied.

Came here for lunch with 2 friends. I ordered oysters for the table and the seared salmon on sauerkraut for my main course. Both were really fresh, especially the oysters. The portion of the main course was pretty huge, so consider sharing if you are a small-eater. The salmon was seared to perfection and the sauerkraut...well was sure as sour as hell. In a way, the sourness of the sauerkraut kind of robs the fresh taste of the salmon. I always feel that a seafood dish should really showcase the freshness of the seafood, as opposed to making it too complex in taste (oh so philosophical)
Ambiance was clinical, almost. It may be because it was not as packed as other tinier Parisian restaurants but ultimately, that was not a deal breaker for me.
All in all, I enjoyed catching up with friends and would visit this place again. Also, bring a fatter wallet as food here tend to be on the spendy side.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Benjamin S.Cantonment, États-Unis13337712 nov. 2011
Great restaurant in Paris,
While I was in Paris with my family, we asked the staff at our hotel to suggest a restaurant for us. We told them that we did not want a mediocre tourist restaurant, so they suggested "La Marée" to us. Besides the service being mediocre, everything else was PERFECT. The appetizer, entree, beverages, dessert were all perfect. We ended up ending ordering the bouillabaise, escargots, French onion soup, seabass, and a dessert (I don't remember the name.) with foamy egg whites. Everything was cooked with perfection, and I will be suggesting to any other of my friends who go to Paris soon. I, as well, will be returning next time also.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
