Lucky's Burger & Brew

A solid rating of 4. Could be a 5 with a little effort. We ordered the Build Your Own Burger. We decided on a 7 ounce beef burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickle and upgraded our fries for onion rings. Also ordered an appetizer of Fried Pimento Cheese Bites that were served with a red pepper jelly. The Cheese Bites arrive first and they were really nice looking. We each had one and agreed they were very cool in the middle and we didn't want to turn back because that would delay our burger. The Lucky's cheeseburger arrived and it too was great looking. Cooked exactly as asked for done but not dry. The cheese was not totally melted but that was ok. We ate the burger. Then there were the onion rings...Perfect Onion Rings. The kind my mother use to make. We asked for the remaining cheese bites to go and they provided extra red pepper jelly. Perfect.

Service was a bit slow. But very friendly. They weren't very busy and we believe service is sometimes better when the staff is busy. But that saying everything was ok. Will definitely return. Great tastes. Recommend the burger and cheese bites.

I've been here several times, as other friends chose it, want it for Wednesday trivia, etc, but I'm done with Lucky's.

Here are the issues I've dealt with here:

1. Stomach issues the day after eating here (not just me)
2. Terrible customer service from some waiters where they just disappeared
3. Receiving the wrong burger twice in a row; they then brought my missing toppings separately after the second burger as by that point the rest of my group was halfway done eating
4. Another member of my party asked for a salad with no bacon. A salad with bacon arrived. After sending it back, our waiter returned with a "new" salad with the bacon flecks still clearly visible throughout the salad. Had to send it back again.

The reason it's a two and not one star is the burgers are good when they get them right, and I have had waiters here who are attentive and really tried to make it right when there were issues. But there's no way that's going to fully compensate for the litany of problems that is this Lucky's.

All I can say is, we came here Friday and glad it wasn't to crowded. The staff was good and the restaurant was nice and clean and very spacious with a friendly staff. The food was OMG good! Big portions and enough to feed your belly. Loved the drinks the bartender made as well! I will be going back on my chill days for sure.

Came here with a friend on a Sunday for a late lunch. It seemed a bit understaffed as it took quite a while for our server to take our order, get our bill, etc. The burgers were good. Sweet potato fries especially. Forget the slaw, tasted like it came straight from a grocery store. They had a sign posted for $12 pitchers during the game. We asked about what beer it was and they said they weren't offering it. For a burger and brew it didn't have much variety of beer...

Food is cool for something quick for easy to grab that's better than fast food
Chili was good, needed salt but that's way better than being too salty
I am on a restricted diet and they accommodated my adjustments

Reasonably priced. We paid $30 + Tax/fees, for nachos and chili.

Good place to go for a game. There are TVs everywhere and they pre-plan to ensure all available games are being shown. The beer is cold and while the draught list is limited, they do offer some good choices. POG Basement is never bad.

Luck's has a tasty queso and the burgers are definitely good. I would recommend both the Georgia Dawg Pounder (fried pimento cheese on a burger...are you kidding?) and the Chihuahua for those that like a little spice. The tots and sweet potato fries make a good addition. However, you need to start every meal with the fried pickles. I've had a lot of these in my time and Lucky's has the best. They are hot, crispy, never greasy and the breading remains adhered to the pickle.

Game days should be spent at the stadium or Lucky's!

Location CLOSED ... as of October 17th Says they hope to relocate... We love this place have been there many times with our dogs - sure hope they find a new home

This place was ok. I'm not sure I would return but the burgers were pretty good. They have a good menu and some fun burger toppings. The service was good. The sweet potato fries were probably my favorite thing here

This was my first time to Lucky's and it was fantastic!
I had their UNDERTAKER cooked medium well. It comes topped with Applewood smoked bacon, two slices American cheese, fried egg (over medium), fried onion straws and served with mayonnaise.

I would put this is the top 2 gourmet burgers I've ever had! It looked so delicious when it came out that I completely forgot to take a picture before I started eating

We will be back out first time in Atlanta!
