McFarlands Custom Carpet

Binding turned out great. Prices are fair. The only negative is you have to drive to the business as they don't answer the phone. The other negative is you have to accept the charge will be fair after the work is done. No quotes are provided. If you can accept two unknowns, give McFarlands a try.

I took carpet into have rugs made, the paperwork was slightly confusing and they were made incorrectly... after 3 tries abcs as many trips I FINALLY got rugs pieced back together into what I originally wanted... this was a process to say the least and I'm certain they are as glad to be done with me as I am with them. I will say had they been done correct the first time, they would have been fantastic. Unfortunately the process left me less than thrilled.

Needed to have my rug re-serged, once my puppy grew up ;-) Previously, it was bound, but serging looks so much better. Happy with what I paid for the quality I received. Did a great job cleaning, too.

Wasn't ready by the promised date, but they got right on it when I called. Sketchy neighborhood, but o.k. once you get there.

How many of you are about to get all new carpet in your home BUT could also use an area rug in that dining room or another room? Well I found a hidden gem in downtown Phoenix who will take those left over pieces of new carpet you paid for so you don't send it away and "bind the edges" of the new carpet for fractions of the cost!!

The nicest ladies ever, met my husband and I by appt 9am Saturday morning to drop off & pick up, and before we knew it we had a 10x16 area rug, of brand new left over carpet from our install for my parents for less than you would EVER find a rug of that size! They color matched, rolled it up in Saran Wrap for safe packing - it's perfect!! They even did a small piece for us for our laundry room doorway for free. Love this place- highly recommend saving for the next time you need new carpet! Don't let extra carpet be hauled off - use it, bind it!

Jonathon stayed late to accomodate our schedules. He was so enthusiastic and takes great pride in his work. We came to choose a carpet and binding for a large, odd shaped room- no problem. Decided to have a second rug made for another room. This will be my go- to rug place from now on.

I have been a client and friend for over 20 years. I say friend since they are the on of the warmest and nicest companies to business with. They work great when your schedule is tight because you (I) forgot to drop off the material. A small company that works hard to be the best.

I always feel the upmost joy entering McFarlands Custom Carpet. When I need to finish my DIY rugs with edge binding, they're always very welcome to do so. It always inspires me seeing the carpet arts they've created or worked on and I'm excited to find others who appreciate textile art!

I am from the Bay Area and I never found anything comparable to McFarland's in terms of price, quality, choice, customer service.
I purchased two area rugs for a new home. One area rug was too large to fit the space ... the cost of sending it back and getting a replacement exorbitant. My tile and carpet guy recommended McFarland's.
My interaction was totally with Johnathan, a masterful artisan who cut my rug to a custom size and re-attached the border absolutely beautiful you could not see any seam. Johnathan also removed fringe from several rugs and surged them to match. Additionally, we added backing to the rugs so they would stay in place. Price and Quality excellent and very fair. You will not be disappointed. We were in need of a very large, very difficult to find shaped rug. We got to pick out size, color, feel and overall look and were so happy with the timeline of completion. The rug is amazing and service was on point. Thank you for our amazing carpet!!!

The customer service here is amazing! Marcus is my go to man, he always does a good job on everything I throw at him. I followed him from his old job and it's nothing compared to McFarlands. They are so kind and professional. I'm glad to have found an amazing technician and a company who truly cares about their customers.
