Quarree Wandsbek

This place is like the Tardis.
It doesn't look like much from the outside (as a matter of fact, it looks like nothing at all), but upon entering, you're suddenly standing in the middle of an extremely large shopping center which spans itself across a few buildings and is somewhat complex to navigate.


The Quarree is one of the best shopping centers in Hamburg I've been to - unlike the Europa Passage, the Quarree is full of things you'd actually WANT to buy, such as discount clothing, curiosities, books, toys... and they've got a well solid food court with more than decent coffee (disclaimer: I know the owner/manager of the food court at Quarree). They make a mean baked potato!


The Quarree is the perfect shopping center which SHOULD have been built instead of the Europa Passage - tucks away neatly behind some buildings, has everything you need for decent prices and provides some competitive lunch options. The center needs this kind of shopping center. Why oh why is it in Wandsbek?

Wandsbek Quarree is a shopping center in Hamburg Wandsbek close to the Station Wandsbek Markt. The Wandsbek Quarree is bigger than it appears from the outside. It has two parts which are connected with a bridge. There is a nice choice of shops and there is a small food court.
