Melissa is the real deal! I felt hopeless that no one would be able to help me with my reactive puppy but after only 2 private trainings with Melissa I already saw such a huge difference. She's also very flexible when you need to reschedule which is so nice ! Highly recommend

I have taken Melissa's class now with two different dogs and can't recommend it enough! It's the best environment for socialization and training for your puppy. I have very well socialized dogs as well as obedient and loving. Can't recommend enough!

Hands down the best dog trainer I've had. She has trained two of my Germans shepherds and I'm now enrolling my third dog to her class. If you are looking for a trainer that will work with you and your dog to get the results you want she is the trainer! She's the best!

I foster puppies often, many of them from troubled backgrounds, and I always have Melissa over for a consultation. I prefer her method of training--positive reinforcement--over others because often my fosters need to build confidence and establish base commands, not be reined in. She assesses the pup, we take it on a walk, and we come up with an action plan. I'm pretty good at training myself, but I do need brush-up sessions once in a while!

Melissa also helped me with my two dogs when they were puppies (the last 2 pics of adult Jindos) and occasional confidence-building sessions afterwards.

I'm so glad we were able to enroll in classes with Melissa for our two puppies. We had class through Burbank Parks and Recreation in the park. Melissa was knowledgeable and positive and gave us great tools to get our boys on the right track. It has helped a lot in developing a relationship with them and socializing them so we can be out and about. We are looking forward to future classes with Melissa. Very much recommend!

Melissa is amazing! Her group classes are an excellent opportunity to both socialize and train your doggo, and she covered everything from puppy preschool to teaching your dog table manners. She can intuit what your dog needs, how quickly he or she will learn, and even what can motivate him or her to follow queues. Melissa and her training has been an absolute godsend with my cattle dog/border collie mix who is smarter than what is entirely good for her and at seven months she can sit, down, go to her spot, leave it, drop it, and heel with the best of them. Like, seriously guys, even if your dog is pretty well-behaved just sign up for one of Melissa's group classes to meet her and some wonderful people and dogs and get some truly great advice on any behaviors you might be unhappy with, your dog will thank you!

We love Pawsitive Perspective!! We learned how to teach and work with our puppy Lola with all the puppy basics. We did the group puppy class which was very important to socialize our pup with other dogs in a controlled environment. Even though we were in a group class, Melissa considered each dogs personality with personal attention and one to one at each session. We will be going back soon with our new pup.
