Unbelievable food! I have written many reviews, and I can honestly tell you, this place truly deserves 5 stars!!
We have been here twice now, and will certainly be back!
We have ordered at least 10 menu items in the 2 times we have been here, and every one was absolutely delicious!!
It takes a little time for the food to arrive, but well worth the wait!!!

What a great find! I am hooked on the Malaysian curry - tastes just like my grandma's. Of course, the roti canai is just as good. Being someone who is born and raised in the SE Asia, I was also delighted to find the durian smoothie. I will most definitely be back for more soon.

Nice authentic mom and pop place. One stop shop for food and snacks. Very friendly owner and the bulgogi beef and rice was just what I needed.

Rice was cooked perfectly and the bulging beef flavor was on point. Not too saucy , salty, or plain. Wanted something simple and good and this was it.

Sarang Yeah is a cute corner of Asian fusion bringing together Korean and Malaysian. This simple gas station expanded to include this cafe that is full of love and kindness.

I loved the mandoo, the beef bulgogi, roti camai curry, boba drinks, and doek pokki (rice cake).

In this simple cafe, they have carefully chosen reddish orange chairs with cute table covers and the owners and staff are just as kind and cute. They even have various Korean snack goods, drinks, and kimchi available for sale.

When you think of a restaurant in a gas station I'm sure your thoughts are where mine were. But I was genuinely surprised by the quality of food and drinks. I'm a huge fan of boba so I got three with my food. I also love that they have store bought products you can purchase too. It's tiny so if you like a lot of room where you eat order to go. Definitely want to return and wish I lived closer.

Okay, so my buddy said, 'there is this Korean place in an unusual place.' If you want ambience, this might not be the place. If you want some good Korean fried chicken, this is the place. I would not be an expert on authentic Korean fried chicken. Truthfully it is different every time I try it. But this is good stuff. The chicken was either wings or thighs. We got the thighs because they were cubed and boneless. They were fried in a light batter, very tender, and the thin batter gave it a nice crunch. There are two sauces, the house red and soy sauce. We got an order of the red fried chicken, and an order of the chicken tteok with soy. They were both delicious. The red sauced was tangy, and salty with just enough spice. The soy was salty and flavorful. I couldn't choose between the two. We ordered family style, so I just kept eating both. The tteokis a thick rice cake/noodle. It is very thick and chewy. My wife and daughter didn't really like it, but I had had them in Seattle once and liked them. If you have never had it, I would recommend it with the house red rather than the soy. Either way, I like it. We also ordered the Mandu, which was delicious, crunchy on the outside and soft and flavorful in the middle. And finally the roti chicken curry I believe. This was a mild curry. The pancakes that came with it were delightful, crispy and chewy. Dipping them in the curry was great. The curry was mild, so the two chicken dishes seemed to over power this dish. I would ordered the pancakes for sure to sop up the sauces, but if you want the curry, maybe get that when you're not getting the more flavorful dish. The place was as full as you could get it, and people were picking up food throughout our meal. I would definitely recommend.

South Korea meets Malaysia in Provo City, Utah. If you're ever in the Utah County area or you've driven at least 40 - 50 minutes south from Salt Lake City, Sarang Yeah is a must stop. From my understanding this shop use to be a Sinclair gas station hub. Love the clever usage of turning a gas station into a market/mini restaurant. They still sell gas at the location and the Sinclair signage is still up.

Mee Gorang Stir Fried Noodles - $13.99 -This is such a quick and simple dish. I loved the mix of spices and stir fried veggies. I'm surprised this cost more than the chicken wings.

1 LB of the Mixed Fried Chicken - $11.99. -we had a mix of the house soy and house red sauce. Both are equally delicious.

House Special Spam Musubi - $6.99 -this was made to look similar to Kimbap (a.k.a Korean sushi). Two come in an order and had generous portions

As someone who has worked in the food industry, there are unfortunately a few health code violations. Walking into the shop there were two trays of fried chicken that were out in the open nearby the back door. The fly situation was a little chaotic. Personal food was in the fridge like a slice of eaten cake in the food where drinks displayed for customers. No expiration dates or any indication "when it was made" on the homemade kimchi in the fridge. All these things can be corrected. I hope they are able to before the health inspector arrives.

Overall, I look forward to returning to SY soon. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The food is tasty and craveable. It's a bit of a far drive for me but if I'm in the area with some friends or family I would highly reccommend this place.

Would you go? Let me know. Follow me for all the trips and sips.

Ok. So this place is a must-make-the-journey place. It's out of the way. Off the beaten path. Not an obvious choice in an obvious food location. But make it the ONLY choice for amazing, authentic Korean fare when you find yourself wandering the outskirts of Provo, UT looking for the most satisfying noms...go here. The Korean fried chicken thighs with red sauce, teokbokki, and Mandu have opened my world to a new continent of cuisine. The taro boba is also mana, so get it.

Great little spot with lots of nostalgic dishes. We ordered the kimbap, Korean fried chicken (red), spam musubi, spicy rice cakes/ddeokbokki with kimmari, and butter mochi. Actually my favorite ended up being the butter mochi! The caramelization is heavenly! And it's a big slab, too. I can't wait to go back for that. The kimbap, spam musubi, and ddeokbokki were good/average. My other favorites behind the butter mochi were the kimmari and the fried chicken. This is a lovely spot with a great menu and great service. I can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.

I ordered from Doordash and did not go inside the store so I don't know how the service is. I got the beef bulgogi, spam musubi, kimari, and the Malaysian fried rice. I was mostly excited with fried rice cause I had read that it was good. The food arrive faster than I expected

Malaysian Fried Rice - I expected way more unfortunately. For some reason it was very soggy...

Beef bulgogi - It was good, not amazing but if you get a craving I feel like it will do and plate comes with white rice underneath so you get a complete meal.

Spam musubi - Was definitely missing soy sauce inside, it was a bit spicy (my tolerance is not great however) but somehow it barely had any flavor. Since I was home I tried using some at home Asian products I wish they would have brought some sauce at least cause there was a bunch of rice compare to the amount of spam it should have.

Kimari - first time having it and it was good but I wish it had brought a sauce on top at least as it seemed on some review pictures

Beef bulgogi - alright had better / Malaysian Fried Rice - soggy / kimari - good / spam musubi - alright had better
