Great sport equipment store in the downtown area.

Nice place that sells a lot of sport equipment congregated into one single place. It had multiple floors with different categories. It pretty much covered all the outdoor events: hiking, camping, running, climbing, walking, swimming, etc. It also had lots of options of clothing: pants, shirts, tank top, bags, etc to all genders: male, female, kids, etc. Pretty decent place to spend time and explore options. It also offered heavy sale and discount. I purchased couple of things in this place : )

This is your sporting hypermarket. It's huge and set over 6 levels with most sporting and outdoor related items available. There is gadgets galore and every possible option to spend money on ;-))
I happened to be here during the sales and it was packed. Every cash register had 20-30 people waiting in line but it moved quickly. Despite the crowd the staff were very helpful and got me on my way quick.
I will come back here again and go throughout the whole shop. I have only been to a couple of floor so far.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Jason R.Los Altos, États-Unis2211883016 juin 2015
My favorite sporting goods store in Munich. Conveniently located next to the Apple Store and Marienplatz.
Schuster shines in two areas in my opinion: running and mountaineering /alpine disciplines.
Schuster hires well. The merchandising and assortment are world class. Deeper and tighter than Sportscheck or Globetrotter. The help is more knowledgable and friendlier than any competitor in Munich. There's also a climbing wall and a branch of the German Alpine Club (DAV) on the top floor.
Highly recommend Sport Schuster for your alpine and fitness needs.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dmytro A.Munich, Allemagne822966327 nov. 2013
This is a good place to come if you're going high altitude alpine mountaineering or hiking.
For everything else, the selection is somewhat limited and, in my estimation, has some serious shortcomings. Plus, everything is overpriced.
It is, however, a fun place to be, with the rock climbing wall, multiple levels of fun merchandise displays, and such. Just make sure, if you're going to buy something, that you don't mind parting with a little more of your money than you really need to.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Usama A.Laguna Niguel, États-Unis1922528 mars 2014
Good place to get equipped for winter or outdoor endeavors. We got winter boots for the family after arriving from Southern California. Staff is plentiful, knowledgable, and willing to help (a trifecta). Be prepared to pay full price. Location is excellent right off of Marienplatz.

Spent almost 2 hours on saturday there, to purchase trekking apparel: I found everything I needed, with the help of a very kind shop assitant.
I also found a lot of competence, when I went there for choosing ski stuff.
The shop is also perfectly located, with clear floor plan and clear prices. Which, unfortunately, are not the lower in town, but you can live with.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
