Szechuan House

My favorite take out Chinese spot in Saginaw County. My favorite is the sweet and sour chicken, I love how they make it, and the chicken fried rice is always a must. The fried rice is even good cold and reheated! Even the white rice they have is awesome. Spring rolls are made to the perfect crisp and the crab cheese is crunchy, but not too crunchy, and the dipping sauce they serve with it is so delicious.

Very good food. Pleasantly surprised since it was just a hole in the wall. Very fast and friendly service. One of the few places in frankenmuth where you can get normal quick food. It's a shame the lobby looks so dirty. If they cleaned it up a bit the presentation would look much better for potential customers.

Nothing fancy but this family works hard to provide a quality product at a fair price!

The only problem is I always eat too much.

We especially love the almond chicken and the sesame chicken.

I'd like to start off by saying this was my first visit to Szechuan House. Upon arrival, I noticed quite a line out of the door. I'm a patient person, especially for Chinese food, so I began waiting in line. The wait was lengthy but during the pandemic I understand things are chaos still. Once I entered the building I realized... there were only 2 people running this place. 1 guy doing ALL the cooking and 1 guy doing all call ins, transactions and prep work. I was flabbergasted. They were focused and efficient. Customers weren't appreciative and were downright ungrateful of the efforts being put into making their meals. By the time my transaction was complete, I had so much respect for the 2 workers there that I tipped them $10. Then I tried the food. 10/10! Best almond boneless chicken I've ever tried! Gravy and egg rolls were on point. I will be back very soon, so keep up the hard work. :) To management, the 2 men that worked the evening of 6/26/2020 definitely deserve a raise.

Worst Chinese food ever!! Save your money!! The food was salty. The almond chicken was with salty gravy, the crab cheese had zero crab!! Terrible terrible food!! Waste of money!!

Pretty good food for the value. Nice family atmosphere. I enjoyed the spicier versions and spicy chicken dishes.

I give this place 2 stars. I was not happy with food. I order chicken fried rice with general tso,egg roll, vegetable low main. I got just brown rice, General Tso Chicken was burnt hard couldn't chew it. And the Veg Low Main was just spag noodles with teriyaki sauce. Very unhappy with this place.

I'm here at least once a week for many years for their General's Chicken, only. Many other great meals, all at reasonable prices. Dine in for all u can eat array or takeaway. Best Chinese and Thai in town. Always fast, fresh and friendly here.
