This place is awesome I really liked it! We came to watch the United game. Great place to do that lots of seating in front of a big scream. It also had a back room with another big screen! The service was great and the interior and exterior I think got a recent facelift and it shows! My only complaints were the dart board is partially working. Some numbers don't work. And when you order fries you get a very tiny amount. Though they're really good.
Also I think it's kinda cool how they do their food orders. They give you a card and then you see the matching one up by the kitchen you can grab your order! So don't loose that card! lol!
It was a really fun place we will definitely return to watch more games! And maybe karaoke on Friday night!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brynn K.Saint Paul, États-Unis0110 sept. 2023
Mac and cheese bites are the best bar food around. Once I saw a drag burlesque performance of the Wizard of Oz. Plot twist Toto is a dom. It changed my life.

Fun gay bar in St. Paul. I was playing a show down the road at the Turf Club. It got out around midnight and some pals from the show said, let's hit up the Town House..
I'm always game for 1 more brew, and spinning around to a song or two.
The music here was not phenomenal and the lady bar tender got slightly annoyed when I asked what beers they had.. To be fare I was probably just going to get a Coors Light anyway but I thought I would check out the selection!
The dance floor was fairly good sized as was the bar.. Not a huge place but big enough to chat with friends without being forced onto the dance floor!
A good vibe all around I bet this place gets packed sometimes.. Even at 1am there was a decent amount of folks, drinking, smiling, and dancing! Fun times!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Natsuko O.Saint Paul, États-Unis251325 mai 2022
Best French fries ever, they're exactly like McDonald's. Non gendered restrooms, free pool and darts from 8pm on weekdays. Highly recommend. Very queer friendly

Drink pricing, seating, parking (lot) and staff were great.
However, its a little interesting to find.
We went for the first time and felt very welcome and we had a blast watching a comedy show and drag show on a Wed night.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jeff J.Minneapolis, États-Unis31213 mars 2020
I stopped in here after a Wild game because the light rail was creepy. It took 12 minutes to get waited on at an open seat at the bar. The help seems more interested in talking to a small group at the end of the bar by the door than waiting on new people. I'll wait it out for a bit.

Rundown dive of a place with a fantastic, diverse bunch of people. I came here after a disappointing experience at Lush's questionably named "Drag Revolution."
My friends and I came to Barbara Gordon's Lip Service Drag review. The performers were fantastic, creative - completely engaging. We had an amazing time with fun people and inexpensive drinks.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vanessa R.Northeast Los Angeles, Los Angeles, États-Unis124412 oct. 2019
Visited this bar after the LAFC vs. MNUFC game with about another 40+ visiting fans from LA. We were welcomed, we were treated as friends by both the staff and majority of the patrons. I'm sure there were some MNUFC fans there annoyed by our loudness and the taking over of the karaoke BUT they never let on! My visit was made especially lovely by my interaction with their bartender Tony. He was sweet, made great beer recommendations and was very patient with some of our LAFC fans who may had a bit of an attitude when we first arrived. For me, Tony's professionalism was EVERYTHING. Next year when LAFC plays in St. Paul again, I will absolutely return! Come for the great beer selection and stay for the awesome atmosphere!

So what happens when you're out of town for work and it's a Friday and you need to get to the closest bar so you Google bars near me...you end up at the townhouse. We stumbled in here on a Friday night it was Bingo night it was awesome. We play Bingo for hours we drink their $4 drink special and I would definitely recommend it for a Saint Paul Adventure night.

If this was five years ago, I'd be giving this place a four stars. The only reason I'd dock it a star was because of Monday Men's Night not being as good as it used to be. Unfortunately, I cannot say that this place is as good as it used to be. It has gone downhill in a few ways. I used to say that this was always a place to have a good time. Now, it's a hit and miss.
The reason I say hit and miss is because of the overwhelming level of political correctness. Often, I'd be visiting this place, and there'd be such an abundance of it from both staff and customers that it get to be uncomfortable being in there. I'd have to leave earlier than I had originally planned. I go to a bar for a good time, not to watch every little thing I say or do as closely as I often feel I have to. To their benefit, it's not like that every night. There are some nights that I'd be getting great customer service, feeling comfortable, and having a good time by myself or with my friends.
I've been there for their Wednesday night drag shows many times. They are quite a talented bunch. They know how to entertain a crowd and do great numbers. My favorite drag queen there is Jamie Monroe, especially her Liza Minnelli numbers (I'm a Liza fan).
My only complaint about the drag shows is Gucci Velour. Every time I've seen her there, she has been extremely rude to my friends and me for no reason. I've seen her do the same with many of the other patrons. Her self-righteousness also does not need to be displayed when she's working (she's also a hypocrite). I've made multiple complaints to the bar about her. Besides, she is a horrible performer. She needs to go!
I've been there a few times for Bingo. It is superb! I love that their money goes to HIV funding. I'm 100% for the cause. Aside from that, I've always had a blast playing with them.
Overall, the quality of the drinks depends on the bartender. Heather, Trent, and Mickey are the best at them. They are also polite to the patrons and me. I've carried some pretty good conversations with some of them during their slow times.
Sometimes, this can be a good place to go for a good time. I just have to observe a little more about when the best times are to go there, assuming the time frames are consistent. I hope the overall quality of the bar improves back to what it was five years ago.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
