Town House Motel

Nothing works, and they don't care.

I walked to the desk and told the owner of the motel that the television has so little volume I can't hear it. I tried to call the desk from the phone, but it didn't work. I told him that now I was locked out because he didn't give me a key, and I needed the password for the internet. He walked in the back, and I could hear a grinder make a copy of a key for him to give me. He said he'd give me the internet password when he came to look at the TV.

I went back to my room. It's still cold from when I turned the heat on before. A table has two chairs that are so wobbly I'm afraid to sit on them. The refrigerator is unplugged, so I plugged it back in to store food, hoping it wouldn't catch on fire or something.

Two hours pass, and no word from the owner. I look for a phone book to call him from my cell phone, but there's no phone book. No Gideon's Bible to calm me, either. I start to walk toward the office. He told me not to walk that way, but I couldn't understand his excuse because of his heavy accent. He said he would go to my room to fix the TV and give me the internet password. Another hour goes by. The owner is off duty. A woman at the desk gives me the internet password. I have a bar of soap at the tub, where tile is missing around the knobs. I have no bar of soap at the sink.

I give up on the television. I write this review.

This place was one of my worst stays. So bad that we ended up not actually staying. The staff was rude. The "Cleaned" room needed more than the 2 hours spent. Holes in the sheets, and a stain from sources that I'd rather not think about. The bathroom was dirty and far too small. We had brought one of our dogs with us and we were gone five minutes before they called us that he had gotten out of the room that we had closed and locked as we were leaving. We were able to get him back thankfully unharmed. But the crew was unwilling to help and yelled at us that we were being rude. If i could i would leave No Stars. 99% sure they where the ones that opened our rooms door and let him out, as they said 'we left it open'. Tried to deny us a refund, and only refunded 2 of the 3 days when we hadn't spent more than an hour there. Charged 45 dollars for pet fee for one night when it was posted 15 dollars a night right there at the front window. Negative 5 stars is what they deserve!

It is clean. It has free wifi that works well, you have to ask for the pin code at the front desk when you check in. The lady that owns the place took the disabled parking though, and my mother was unhappy about that.

DO NOT STAY HERE, do yourself a favor and stay at a different hotel any would be better than this one. There are bugs, they have mold all over the bathrooms, clogged drains, no ice machine, horrible service. The owner is so un helpful as well, I left a pair of adidas track pants (pretty new as well I might add) and I called that night to see if anyone had found them, but front fest told me to call back to talk to the owner in the morning, so I did and the owner tells me he thru them out. Great lost and found policy! A matter of 12hrs my stuff was supposedly tossed
