Pleasant but undistinguished. Owners seem to be Chinese, and some of the dishes taste more Chinese than Japanese.
The miso was very bland, and seemed to lack the traditional stock (dashi?).
I had a form of beef donburi, which tasted like it was just rice with stir fried beef and veggies on top.
My girlfriend complained that the sushi rice was too sweet and mushy, but otherwise liked the sushi.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jennifer P.Redwood City, États-Unis973798 avr. 2019
Good selection and nice servers. We came at 10:15pm on a Monday. We picked it because they were open and there were good reviews. It didn't disappoint. The sashimi was fresh and tasty. The skewer variety plate was also good.

This place was great. It is right around the corner from where we are staying. It has sushi and also a lot of Japanese skewers. Raw fish and meat on sticks, what's not to like? It is clean, both the sushi and the skewers are tasty and it is reasonably priced. The wait staff is friendly and so are the other patrons. They offer several decent wines in half bottle sizes and also hot sake. The staff speaks English as well as French. Great choice if you were in the area and in the mood for Japanese.

Good quality and great prices. It's a wonderful place to go before a movie or if you want to have a lowkey dinner out. Nothing fancy, just good sushi.

This sushi spot was recommended by our hotel as it was right around the corner. We were starving when we arrived in Paris, and Toyotomi was the perfect place to grab lunch. Their sushi rolls were delicious and a great value.

First time in this place. I came with my family and friends from Japan who had never been in this restaurant. It seemed they never left Tokyo as there was Japanese speaking waiters. We all ordered something different on the menu set each dish was superb and authentic even down the miso soup and gyoza. Our friends truly felt like they were back home. For a family of 3 and 2 friends price was exceptionally reasonable. We all enjoyed our meal and conversation. Great place will visit again when in town.

Was in Paris on vacation and was trying to find cheaper places to eat. We walked past this place and decided to go in since the menu looked very reasonably priced. The staff was extremely nice to us, even though we spoke very bad French...almost non-existent French. Mostly every other place we had been to in Paris, people were very mean and rude to us, so having people be nice for a change was great!
Food was delicious, to put it simply. Sushi tasted very nice, and a nice presentation. We ended up going back once or twice more because we had such a good experience the first time. I even saved the business card we got from there so that I could write a good review once we got back home!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - L T.Toronto, Canada1871521 août 2012
The worst sushi we have ever tried. I couldn't even finish one of the 3 maki roles I ordered. The fish was smelly, the rice was warm, and the entire experience was awful. The menu is small (very few sushi choices). My wife tried the mushroom skewers and even those tasted awful and they were just grilled mushrooms. If you have ever tried real japanese food (in Japan, or elsewhere) I caution you to stay away from this place.
