Ze Bar

Mediocre, overpriced dive bar that will make you wish for America back.

Maybe my standards are too high after riding a college town bar scene for a few years, but Ze Bar is seriously disappointing. After being refused the WiFi password, we decided to drink our collective sadness away by ordering several rounds of beers. Just for kicks, we also ordered an enourmous 1-Liter mojito that came served with a sparkler. The mixed drink was made with decent ingredients, but it didn't have enough lime which really hurt the taste... I'd take a grimy glass of jungle juice with a sparkler instead.

Ze Bar's staff will generally ignore you, and it's pretty clear that they just want you to leave after they take your money. This is all to say -- you're in France, why are you even here??

Is there less than 1 star. DISGUSTING!!! Employees disgusting excuses for human beings. My beautiful 20 yr old daughter and her girlfriends, studying abroad went there. My daughters friend (a girl) was pushed to the ground by a bouncer. When my daughter came to her defense the bouncer knocked my daughter to the ground and busted open her chin. There was so much blood an ambulance and police were called, she was transported to the hospital and given sutures and observed all night for head injury and a possible fractured jaw. KEEP YOU CHILDREN OUT OF THERE!!! There was no help from the owner or other staff and no follow up contact. Charges have been filed against this bouncer but he is probably still there. Apparently he likes to beat up girls. Do not let your girls or any students travelling abroad go there!!

Horrible over priced bar. Staff is rude and glasses are dirty. They hand out sparklers to light and dance around. Doesn't make up for the lack of service and atmosphere.
