Come on down to Jump Jive and Shout the lively, fun friendly 1940s and 50s style party night, with retro diva and vinyl queen Jeniffer Jackson spinning some of the very best in pulsating, energy driven 1940s and 50s rhythm n blues, jump jive, boogie woogie, doo wop, blues shouters and more. The roots of rock n roll.

Celebrating the fantastic music of some of the great unsung originators of rock n roll: Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner, Little Richard, Amos Milburn, Ruth Brown, Cab Calloway, Lucky Millinder, Roy Milton and many others.

Always a great night out on the second Saturday of each month with occasional live music from some of the UKs best rockin' bands.

Dress code optional but think smart or retro, vintage, 1940s, 50s, 60s. Or even the T.Vs series Mad Men and Pan am.

Jump Jive and Shout is in it's second year and we have settled nicely into our new Saturday night venue the very friendly Kennedy's Bar with it's "secret garden". This is a great night out with lots of fun a chance to hear some of the pulsating early American juke box music that went on to become known as rock n roll. There's a chance to watch some brilliant dancing and get all dress up 40s and 50s style if you feel like it.

Why not check us out, it's so different from the rest, this is real music that gets your heart pounding and your feet moving. Nothing added and nothing taken away.
