Best Date Night Experiences
Half price sushi Wednesdays is amazing. I love the choices, the atmosphere, and the service. It was not as crowded as it was last time, major plus. Besides I got about 40 pieces of sushi for less that $35, pretty cool right. I say try it out, it's a really nice date night place
My first visit was worth five stars, second time as well, third time for apps and drinks, just four. The bartender, who was also a manager, was cool. The menu changes frequently I feel. I really like the place itself, it's really nice. I like the location, and the romantic feel. It's pricey though and I think if they had a few less expensive options, they could bring in more business. Overall, a very nice date place!
I give the beer engine five stars this time, because I didn't have to wait as long this time, and I had something to compare it to. I still love the crazy huge beer selection, which alone gets five stars. The burgers and fish, awesome as usual. I loved our corner table, where we had plenty of room to relax. Towards 8:30/9ish on a Saturday, the crowd gets a little rowdy...Glasses dropping, women in fishnets, drunken idiots, you know. Entertainment wise, pretty exciting.I went here this past weekend after we stopped in Melt and was told it would be a 2 1/2 hour… En savoir plus
Went for Taco Tuesday last night, it was pretty good. Nice change from Merry Arts. Definitely worth trying. I would have given it five start, but two things : one, I always am a little surprised how high the bill is every time I go here, plan to spend about $40/per couple. Second thing was the margarita, white peach or plain, still small and not my favorite.Completely agree with Cara on this, I don't really have much to add but personally, I would like a… En savoir plus
I would give Salmon Dave's 5 stars, but it's just wayyy to pricey.
We went on a Sunday and they had a jazz band for their Mardi Gras theme night. This was a great atmosphere, especially since it wasn't crowded or anything.
Not too much to choose from, but man it all looked great.
I got the lobster, chicken penne and my boyfriend got the mardi gras feast, and let me tell you...best steak I have EVER had...
I would recommend this place if you are looking for a nice night out!
BEST PIZZA EVER! I have introduced many of my friends in college to this place and everyone LOVES it! You don't get any better than this homemade pizza, it's as close to deep dish Chicago pizza as you're gonna get here in Cleveland :) Trust me on this one! I go here at least twice a week, but now I have been picking up the pizza to go because the construction is pretty bad sometimes. Plus let me tell you people this place gets CROWDED! So be prepared to wait and make sure you are craving some amazing Italian food!
Also, please get the breadsticks, you will fall in love with dough :)
I loved the apple cider and picking out my own pumpkins! This place is SO cute, I went here around Halloween to find pumpkins to carve and they had a HUGE assortment to choose from. Everything was reasonably priced, plus they had so many pastries to choose from as well. Totally will go back :)
I'm not quite sure what else the Elyria area has to offer, but I'd make the trip to Danny Boys or Frankie's, hell even Buccis if I wanted my Italian food to blow me away. I just felt like Sorrentos was just another place with nice, food.
Believe me, I wanted to be Wowed by this family restaurant, but again it just was A-OK :/ I had the cheese ravs, which were smothered in sauce, not my particular favorite, also quite messy. But they were huge ravs if I do say so. and for $10-11 it was sufficient for the amount of food portions that both my date and I received.
Also, you do get a soup or salad with dinner, which is also, just .... nice. I enjoyed the Italian dressing on my salad, tasted homemade.
My biggest problem with Sorrentos is the common sense issue. Around 7/8PM on a Saturday, no one else in the restaurant except a large group of about 12 old folks looking like that just had their 50th high school reunion, which is totally fine, but don't seat us right.next.to.them. I mean come on people, I saw your other room, I'm not blind. It's not me and my brother having dinner, cmon now.
With that being said, the atmosphere of the old folks was overwhelming yet entertaining. I think their company made the experience, whether it be positive or negative. They made for great conversation.
Love everything about Frankie's pizza! House salad is to die for, the cheese is overflowing, even the dressing is sweet with the right amount always on it. Fried ravs are perfect, a tad pricey but still worth it.
And the pizza, always so good. The sauce has the right amount of flavor, no wonder they are voted best pizza around!
I recommend getting a Groupon when they come out, it's so worth it. The pizza is simply delicious :)
Gets super crowded on weekends though so make reservations! True authentic Italian food!Love the Monday and Tuesday night pizza special, it's like $8 for a large pizza, and it's soo good.… En savoir plusWell if you're in the mood for good hearty deep dish pizza - go to Danny Boys...

As the menu states, this is gormet Chinese food, and as I may add, at it's finest. Best Chinese food in Cleveland, let alone best I've ever had. Decor is so inviting and warm, makes you feel extremely comfortable. The service is great, you truly feel like you are being served. Our waiter was professional and right on cue. The won ton soup or however you spell it is awesome, the flavor is just out of this world. You have to try it! The egg rolls are pricey but worth it. Loved the chicken egg roll.
I had the orange chicken which was amazing! Dad had caschew chicken which was also amazing. The food is great quality, you can tell this is authentic Chinese food that is good for you.
For 3 people who had: drinks, soup, egg rolls and two entrees, the bill was about $55. So worth it, I highly recommend this for nice meal out! A ton of people do take out too, which I also have done :)
I have only come here for drinks a handful of times but the selection is great! The choices are really unique, service has always been good, and the atmosphere is fun.
I like the location, W25th is a fun area. Parking can be a pain, but this place is worth it. I come here to grab drinks with friends. It can get pretty crowded on a Friday night.
Still really good! Went here on a Monday, discounts on drinks and certain sushi. Love the Little Delicious, you have to try it! I think it's worth the drive, especially if you go to the mall right down the street.Shinto and the Little Delicious are AWESOME. I don't want to know what's in it, but it's so so so so… En savoir plus
Oh Fuzzy's where to begin with you? Are any of you familiar with the Toby Keith song "I love this bar"? Because he made that song for bars like Fuzzy's.
This bar is right down the road from my house. It looks awful from the outside, and more than likely if I were alone, I would not go in. However, I have wonderful friends that like to accompany me here.
The bartender Jen is absolutely great; she is fun, fast, down to earth, and just the perfect person for Fuzzy's. Cheap beers and shots, fun times with townies...what more could you ask for? OH WAIT, DARTS!
haha what is better than drinking beer, drinking beer then throwing sharp objects...
Also, there is pool, which is not as fun as darts...
So there you have it, I really like Fuzzy's and I am now a regular. So if you happen to stalk me sometime, I'm more than likely the girl that looks like she doesn't belong in a bar like this LOL
