Four star. Five star. Huge dilemma. Jack, the barista of Culver City Cognoscenti, recommended this place to me few weeks back. Few days ago, my lady and I finally made it out to Sapp.
For the price and from my ignorant knowledge, this place is damn cheap yet authentic. The boat noodles, which is one of the biggest mentions on yelp, were very tasty. The broth off the boat noodle was just delightful. I got the beef version with everything, tripe, liver, beef, everything! The pork version was just as delicious.
The jade noodle is also another dish I highly recommend. I can go for both of those all day long if my stomach is expensively bottomless.
This is definitely my favorite Thai restaurant at the moment. I hate to exaggerate, but every dish that I have ordered has been delightful and delicious. The beef noodle soup was simple and tasty. The dishes with crunchy pork skin have been bombastic. Last but not least, on a hot day, you have to try its basil pineapple slushy. Amazing!
