McLaughlin has handled arrangements for 5 of my relatives over the last 10 years. That says something: my entire family trusts them. Not only are they really good handling arrangement; they're wonderful in difficult times. The care, compassion, empathy that they give ... I'm without words. Thank you.

The Embassy Inn has received some horrible reviews. Overall, I was happy with my stay because it cost half of what other hotels were charging.
I planned out a bachelor party afternoon at PAG: I called up, got rates, and scheduled time 2 days ahead of the day. The folks on the phone were easy to work with.
We drove from Atlantic City in a little over an hour and found parking right out front (we lucked out). Five firearm novices entered a world of hand guns, assault rifles, shotguns, guns, guns and more guns. The folks at PAG quickly got us processed and set us up with our instructor: Eddie.
Eddie was great. He was patient and very informative. He took his time with his lesson and answered all our questions. He was very personable and a great teacher. He brought us up to shoot. He pointed out everything to get ready for ,e.g., it's loud, the shells ricochet, different stances, etc. He even helped me correct a tendency to push down when shooting by using a revolver. Eddie knew we were there for the experience; so, he suggested we shoot a shotgun and m16; what an experience; overall, it was a great experience and the bachelor was extremely happy.
We highly recommend PAG. Good rates, professional staff and great location. Head over to Geno's Steak around the block when you're done shooting.
I brought my car in for work done be done on a recall. I figured they could also do my alignment (balance wheels); man, I should of asked for a price before hand. They charged me $180 to do it. I'd never heard of such a high price. Holy Land Auto Repair does this for $55. I asked for a quote to do my timing belt, and they told me $900. Again, I was floored. Holy Land will do it for under $400. Don't take your Honda to a dealership; it's a rip off.
Great service and fair prices. I recently had my rack replaced (rack and pinion) at Holy Land Auto Repair. My power steering fluid was leaking from both tie rod joints. I was hoping they'd tell me it was just rubber seals on both ends, but both sides leaking indicated a busted rack. They replaced the rack and balanced my wheels in the same day for a fair price: they only charged $55 for the wheel balance. The rack job was big; a google search reveals that they typically range from $600 to $1000. They did the entire job with parts, labor, balancing and taxes for $700.
I'm also shopping around to replace my timing belt; my car is coming up the 100k mark and it's good maintenance to replace it. Bay Ridge Honda quoted me over $900. Holy Land quoted me $395. Again, great prices and service.
