I read all of the negative reviews and was terrified to go to the Oddball Comedy Tour (Aziz & Amy) however it really wasn't that bad at all. Maybe my expectations were just set so low. We had lawn seats and parked across the street from the venue. The distance was not that far at all! They didn't look twice at the blanket we brought it in. The food vendor lines were super chaotic before the show opened, so I would just skip those. If you have lawn seats be aware that food and beer vendors are up there as well. Ladies, wear flats. The lawn is a huge incline; getting up there and while you are sitting. We arrived about 20 min before the show started so we didn't deal with sitting outside the gates like some of the other users dealt with.
So loud. Construction and street cleaning on one side and some sort of water heater making a ton of noise on the other side of me at night. If you have to stay here make sure you are getting a room that doesn't face the busy street. I got ZERO sleep. Older hotel kind of creeped me out.13/08/2015 Dear Lynn,
Thank you very much for your comment. It is unfortunate that you didn't feel comfortable… En savoir plus
The best workout in South Bay - I have tried them all. Great music and terrific instructors that push you to your full potential. I love the full body workout you get here (cardio + weights + balance). Each interval is only 60 seconds, you can do anything for 60 seconds. Bonus is providing towels so you don't have to remember to bring one in. Justin and his team have put together a fantastic fitness studio.
I have only gotten my eyebrows waxed here. The first few times were fine (the younger nice girl had did an ok job- I think her name is Victoria).
But the third and LAST time I will ever walk into that place was horrific. I had a different woman than before and she literally took 3 minutes total from start to finish. I had a TERRIBLE reaction on my face, had to go to the dermatologist for treatment, they said it was an infection (most likely from dirty wax). I treated it with what the dermatologist gave me and everything has been fine since. I would never go in here again.
Great casual dining spot - this will be my new go to! I had the Citrus Avocado Salad w/white meat chicken added. Huge salad, it seemed never ending for $12. So healthy refreshing and delish!!! I ate the other half for lunch the next day and it was still just as great. Pita and garlic sauce complimentary on the side - so yummy!

After reading the other reviews it sounds like this guy was formally known as Keith. I am half joking. Paul told me he was "new" and had transferred from another Mazda dealership. His name was hand printed on a business card (as another review below had stated).
This place is a complete joke. It seems like they are in the business of NOT selling cars. I give zero stars - but I hear you have to give at least 2 or Yelp flags it.
Let me first say I was a single upper 20 yo blonde walking into a car dealership on my own, and the typical situation that you hear about took place. I didn't have much time on Saturday (1/25/14) I wanted to test drive a 2014 Mazda3 to see if I liked it and what pricing might look like. I need a car within the next few weeks so I would be purchasing something.
Paul was the ideal chauvinistic male that you hear about. Right off the bat he was condescending - treating me like a 1920s housewife. When we got into the car for the test drive he ordered me several times to move my seat up, and that I was too far back. Literally over and over again ordering me to move my seat.
***and then here is the kicker***
Upon pulling out of the dealership he literally PUNCHED ME IN THE ARM and screamed "Watch out!!" Unreal...traffic was fine. Everything was fine...and even if it wasn't ...WHY are you punching me in the arm!
He didn't like the town he thought I grew up in and had no problem talking crap about it. He went ON AND ON about the "rich women from there stealing money from men".
The owner (from the town in which Paul was referring too) seemed a bit nicer but I was pretty offended when we reviewed pricing and he suggested I would be paying $300 - $400/mo for a Mazda3 lease. My friend just leased a Mazda3 in LA - Jan 2014 - and is paying $250/mo with $1k down. ....$400/mo for a Mazda3 lease? Please give me a little more credit than that.
I had told them to call me with pricing, they never called. Stay Away!
Update (1/29/14): Paul did call me back....5 days later! "Hi Lynn - I can get the car for ya. Call me back". OMG. I am dying.
Update (2/1/14): Received another voicemail from Paul. "Hi Miguel..... its Paul at South Bay Mazda.......call...me...back". Wait what - who is Miguel?
I ended up buying a 2013 Mazda3 from CarMax, down the street from this place.
Came here in a whim as I was going to go and try out Fantasy but they were closed on Sunday. I always go to Angel on the pier. The yelp reviews seemed good so I went in. I didn't love it. Angel is much nicer! Kim did my eyebrows and I thought they were great ESP for the price of $10. Everyone was nice ... But Angel just seems a bit cleaner and the big screen TVs with Bravo constantly streaming I just love!
