This place is awful! They WRECKED not only my hair but my friend's hair. Neither of us are picky but we paid a lot of money for the convenience and will have to wait a lot of months to get back to normal hair. What is wrong with these people? Plus, there were roaches climbing on equipment. Two of the workers got into a verbal altercation and I thought shots would be fired. Also, you can get COPD with just one visit here because there is not proper ventilation ((Verizon Center location)!

What an amazing guy! Honest, dependable, nice. He arrived to fix my sister's car and was honest in explaining that the bracket and bolt where damaged and rusted and he didn't feel he could repair it to the level that a body shop could in this situation. It was outside of what he normally does. My sister and I were amazed that people like this still existed. He drove an hour to get to the car and wouldn't even take gas money. A definite find to share with others! Incredible service!

I was in this area once for new tires. I was in the area again recently. Decided to take my car in for an oil change and fluid check. Nothing major. About an hour after dropping it, the phone call from Mr. Tire came. My brakes needed to be replaced. The rotors too. Oh, and I needed a radiator flush and I needed this and I needed that. I needed $1400 worth of stuff apparently. I took my car elsewhere. All the work was done in a day. The cost? $328. Avoid Mr. Tire at all costs. Plus, if you book online they will call you and change it or make you so confused you're not sure what time to be there. Never again. I have lived and learned.

How can you not give it five stars when they have the best piano player in the country? So much fun singing along with Jon Adelson!

WOW! Dr. Blumenkranz has got to be the BEST endodontist in the D.C.-area (and far beyond). I wish I had found him for my earlier root canals. He is amazingly thorough, calming, keeps you informed throughout the process, is funny, kind and very interesting. Great stories! I am so utterly impressed. The experience was as spa-like as getting a root canal can be.  He works with a lot of insurance carriers (many don't) and provides you top-flight service. I mean, I don't think I could accurately describe how great the service is! His staff is great, especially Carolyn (I believe that's her name), the assistant. The front desk clerk, too, is very nice and informative. If you need a root canal, please take it from me as I've had this experience a multitude of times, this is the best and most thorough endodontist I've found. I could not recommend anyone more highly!!! Two thumbs up! If you need a root canal, it's essential to find the best endodontist as some root canals do not take and have to be redone. With the thoroughness of Dr. Blumenkranz, I am 100% confident this one was done perfectly!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!

This place is GROSS. Our feet stuck to the filthy floor. You have to descend a flight of stairs to arrive at this fire trap (seriously, how do they pass Georgetown code?). The night we were there, we heard two different piano players. Both sucked. One was a real showman with limited talent (okay on the keyboard) and the other couldn't sing at all. It was embarrassing listening to him. The dark, dank feel of the place is unhealthy. They have to practically give drinks away to get any type of crowd. I expect the place to dies a slow death but I do expect it to die, nonetheless. I prefer the new Mr. Smith's (named after the original Mr. Smith's) down in the old Chadwick's space on the K Street waterfront in Georgetown.

Pretentious little gallery run by a pretentious little man. Nothing unusual here. Just a bunch of overpriced items at high mark up.

Was visiting someone in this area and we took our dogs to the self wash. It's fantastic! They provide everything you need...shampoo, tub, water, towels, splash apron, brushes, high powered dryer, steps to the tub, if needed for your pet, ear wipes, tear stain wipes, etc. Best way to wash your dog, "bark" none! Further, their store carries high end dog food, treats, toys, and gear that is very reasonably priced (especially if you're visiting from D.C.!) I highly recommend this place! All paws up for it!

They now carry fresh bagels everyday! Yeah! Love to support them. Nice people! Great variety for a corner store.

I don't live anywhere near Frederick, residing in Washington, D.C., but I had to take my father out to visit my mother in a nursing rehab center and looked for barber shops opened on Sunday for my father. I found this one. It was packed when we arrived but they really moved swiftly yet gave care and attention to each and every customer. My dad was thrilled with his haircut. The gentleman also groomed his brows, lathered his neck, and paid care and attention with each move.  My dad was highly impressed as was I. I can see why this place gets such rave reviews! Really great barber shop that offers customers a large flat screen TV but charming, old world vintage barber chairs. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown. Parking is the only issue. I had to circle around a bit before I found a place. In the end, I got a space right, smack in front of the shop!
