Happy to report they have corrected all of the problems from the review I gave shortly after opening. Happy to recommend both the calamari and margarita to you... though I prefer the mule now! So glad I didn't give up on this place and that they brought the quality up to where it needed to be.
During an extremely busy and hectic lunch rush hour I watched the guy making sandwiches with gloved hands pick up a broom and sweep the floor and I thought to myself that guys going to keep making sandwiches without changing his gloves I bet. Wrong he changed his gloves without a thought. 5 stars for safe food handling practices and giving a damn.
Such Yum! If you have never been here you're missing out. My son and I both love this place! The Owner and staff are all so friendly. The owner even took the time to show my son how to use a kendama. They really understand flavor profiles and it comes through in the food. I highly recommend the bird. My son who doesn't drink soda loves the Agua Fresca because it's just the right amount of sweet.
There are two things you need to know about this business (and the Dyson company overall)
1) They sincerely care abut their customers and are passionate about the products they sell.
2) They will go to extremes to make sure that you are happy with your Dyson.
I purchased my Dyson DC7 in 2003 and since then it has run with no problems for 12 years... until my darling dog decided to chew the cord. getting the repair didn't go quite as I expected and in the end they replaced my vacuum with a new one. Which is much more then they needed to do.
I will forever more recommend Dyson and their products because I have total confidence that they care and they will resolve any... and I do mean any problem that arises.
I am still blown away. Honestly.
As many reviewers have stated, wait times for orders can be very long. They certainly need to improve on this. Fortunately, the server for our group of 7 was friendly and attentive. Still it took a very long time for food to arrive. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 minutes. Long for pizza.
There are some bright points, the food was very good and tasted fresh. The patio was very nice, clean with lots of shade and a cover for the rain which was nice since it did sprinkle a bit during our meal.
Would not recommend if you are very hungry and want a quick meal.
I wouldn't hesitate to make them 4 stars if they can get that wait time down to 20 minutes.
We were actually headed to Jelly another favorite in the area... but the wait was too long for us today. I have had several good meals in the past from the dinner menu but today was a first with my 12 year old son.
The resturant was nearly empty but like the dinner menu the breakfast menu had so many good things that it took us a while to debate and decide what to order.
My son had the pork scramble and devoured it. I had the lemon curd pancakes... which my son assisted me with finishing.
Every bit as good as Jelly without the hipster vibe. (Not that I don't enjoy hipsters).
The service was good, it did take the kitchen a little longer than expected to put out a breakfast plate... but not horrible.
All in all I probably saved a few calories... no donut holes. If you are sitting outside of Jelly with a long wait... looking this way and wondering if you should try it. I say go for it!
The butchers and fish mongers are the best! They don't give you the stink eye if you ask them to separate portions, check the back, grind something or make special cuts! They also have friendly baristas who are quite exuberent about the fresh smoothies.
Drastically higher prices then anywhere else, continually reducing products in catagories, And reducing hours.... This store will go out of business within a year.
Almost 7 dollars for a half cup of soup I guessed it must be really delicious soup to command that price. I ordered the lemongrass duck soup. If you are watching your salt intake this is the soup for you. Completely flavorless.
