I am very happy with my pedicure. Jenny paid very close attention to every toe and cuticle.
I called on a Saturday morning and made an appt for two pedicures that same afternoon. Walked in and was ready right away.
Jenny went twice over each foot cutting back the cuticles and special focus on each toe with scrub and nice long massage.
I will def be going back!
Not bad food, if you don't mind waiting an hour...and watching the hostess seat her friends before you. We waited over an hour with friends who had a young child. Wouldn't recommend this for families. Caters to the 20 something neck tattoo crowd and has more of a bar feel than a restaurant to be honest.
Which is fine if that's what you're looking for.... I just wanted to have dinner with friends.
We showed up early for dinner(4:30 pm) and were told 30 minute wait. At 5:30 pm I approached the blonde hostess and asked about the empty table I was staring at through the window. "It's reserved." She then ignores me to talk to her friends who just showed up and were told to sit at the bar and she'd be right with 'em. When I inquired again she huffed and said "I'll seat you where I seat you." Goodbye! Tower Two is less than 5 minutes away and the staff isn't smarmy. Had a great chicken sand there(the "Santa Monica")
Have been to OB Noodle House before as a couple and managed to eat before my legs cramped from standing outside, but the sardine like seating(bumping elbows with the table next to us) never impressed me.
Hate to harp on the staff, but the hostess' really had no concept of seating/organizing a crowded restaurant. The place was literally a three ring circus.
Either be a restaurant or be a bar, for now I'd call it a crowded bar that serves food. Seem more happy to work on their "awesome beer selection" than serving food. I'll be sure to come back when I want to get drunk and shout above noise. Until then....with so many great options in OB(with none of the attitude) and Pho places within minutes, I don't see myself going back anytime soon. Hope the outta town crowd keeps coming 'cause you're losing the locals(except for friends of the staff of course)
I love this place! I bring all my friends here... especially those visiting from out of town... it's always a big hit.
There food is so fresh and tasty! They have a huge selection of entrees and a lot of vegetarian options too (personally I'm a meat-a-tarian... but to each their own :)
My husband and I probably eat here at least once a week... def affordable... especially for the quality of the food.
Awesome! Love this place. My husband and I always come here when we go out for sushi.
I travel a ton for work... New York, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Miami, Denver, etc, etc... so I've ate at my fair share of restaurants.
The sushi here is great! They have fresh specials, which are always fun to try. They are super friendly and always remember my husband and I.... that might be because he dipped an entire sushi in real wasabi oil and almost lost his sense of taste completely... but that's another story.
I almost didn't want to leave a review.... to keep this little restaurant a secret.... but you def have to give credit where credit is due.
I was worried after reading some of the reviews... regarding lost appointments... long waits... etc.
I had the worst tooth ache and have not been to the dentist in ..... lets leave that one along.
Anyhoo... I called on a Saturday morning and asked if they could get me in that same day (with fingers crossed) and the receptionist said of course! Just be in before we close at 2pm. SERIOUSLY! same day! awesome!
Well not so awesome because it's the dentist... but ok... so I show up and they get me right in... and of course the wisdom teeth in the back have got to go.... oh and by the way one is infected. And who's fault is that... mine of course.... but Dr. Stevens never laid on the guilt trip.... REALLY! NO GUILT TRIP!.... ok awesome again.
Dr. Stevens gave me all the options and I chose to go ahead and have them pulled that same day... no pain! and great communication.
I will def be going back... hopefully on a more regular basis :)
Liz is the best! Look no further for the most IMMACULATE shellac mani or pedi anywhere!
I travel alot and have been to many spas and nail salons all across the country. Since I've been lucky enough to find Liz, I always wait until I return home to visit her for my nail treatments. And since I do travel alot, I need to know that my nails are going to look as fabulous two weeks later as they did the first day. Since I've been going to Liz I've never had to worry.
Her little sanctuary is BETTER than any spa or nail salon I've been to. Extremely relaxing and everything she does is HIGH QUALITY. I've never liked the "take a number" and "get in line" nail salons with 20 chairs lined up in a row like an assembly line.
When you can appreciate true quality.... you understand that it may take 3-4 hours for a shellac mani and pedi (with a little art) and be a little bit more expensive than regular nail polish... but it is ssssssoooooo worth it. Many times I've made my return visits... not because the polish had chipped or faded.... but because it's been 3-4 weeks and I have crazy growth :)
She is truly passionate about what she does and is a true artist!
