I'm sorry, but where has this been all my life?!

I took my two kids here today for lunch and it was great! I'd never been here before, but had wanted to try it when we lived in Phoenix. I never got the chance until today, years later. Even my kids who are young were raving about it.

I did a BYO turkey sandwich and my kids each got kids meals (a PB&J and a grilled cheese). The price is more than fair considering I recently took the two of them to Subway and it was $34 for two footlongs and a kid's meal. Our trip today was $29 and we got better food and more of it! The kids' meals were the best deal since they each got a sandwich, chips (I upgraded one to fries for $1) a drink, and a special treat. When the food was done, the employee had placed two coins, one for each child, with our food. We figured out it was for the candy machine that had M&Ms in it. This was a nice touch, my kids loved it!

My food was really good too and everything was made fast! There was only one employee working that I could see, but she was churning out orders quickly. Three couples came in immediately after us and none of them looked like they waited longer than we had (a couple minutes, tops).

We will definitely be coming back! I've officially sworn off Subway (or Jimmy Johns or Eegees) now that I found my way here, lol.

      Delicious!

Two of my kids and I stopped here to try it out finally. All three of us got gelatis. My daughter ordered a chocolate ice cream & mint chocolate chip ice gelati. My son got blueberry & vanilla ice cream. I got cafe latte and swirl ice cream. All three (I sampled each lol) was great!

The young ladies working the counter were quick and friendly. The food was perfectly sized and not too expensive. We will definitely be back!

I live much closer to this store than to the competition on Broadway and I needed a bathtub for my baby. I decided to pop in last week and it was a bit disappointing. I'd been here years ago and remembered it seeming overpriced. Unfortunately, I found the same to still be true.

The ladies who were working were friendly, but the store itself feels a bit more like a thrift store than a consignment shop. They had a ton of clothing, much of it priced way too high for secondhand items. The stuff lining the walls was what I was interested in though.

I came across small items I might want for my baby like a milestone mat that seemed fairly priced, but when I looked closer, I saw that whoever had it before had written in marker on the hoop that gets laid on the number of weeks or months old baby is. This, despite looking like it was never opened. I put it back.

I eventually reached the baby bathtubs and the one I was interested in was not in the best shape when I pulled it down to inspect it. It needed to be cleaned and had definitely been used--which is fine, but for the price they were asking, it should've been in better condition. When I got home, I ordered one from Amazon for just a couple dollars more than the one in Sweet Repeats. I did find a sound machine I had on my Amazon registry for half the price, so I bought it. Everything else in the store was just too expensive in my opinion.

We were driving up from the Tucson area which does not have Ono. We lived in Phoenix for many years, so we know Ono's food is good. We placed an order online from the highway when we got close enough. The order should've been ready by the time we picked it up, but we still ended up waiting about 15 minutes. My husband went in first to try and pick it up. Then came back to the car to wait.

While we were waiting, I had to use the restroom. So, I went in to do that and grab the food when it was done. As I was telling them I was there for an order, the guy behind the counter looked at me suspiciously. He told me there was a guy trying to pick up the order under that name (my name lol). I had to explain that was my husband and I'd come in this time so I could use the bathroom. He gave me the food and I was on my way.

I do appreciate that the gentleman didn't want to just hand an order over to someone without verifying it was actually theirs. I've seen too many times where someone comes in for a To Go order and no one checks anything. So, awkward as it was, I'm happy he was hesitant to just let me walk out with the food.

The food itself was good, as always! We wanted to come back before heading home to Tucson, but we didn't get the chance.

      The pros:

      - Legos! Legos everywhere! If you or a child in your group is really into building Legos, then this is the place. They had several build stations throughout. My own kids seemed a bit bored by this, but others seemed to enjoy it.

      - Two rides. The first is more of a game where you shoot at bat guys. The other looked like a fun ride, but I didn't/couldn't go on it because I'm pregnant. My older kids enjoyed it though!

      - The indoor playground! My kids and several others were very into this section. It reminded me a bit of Discovery Zone in the 90s: lots to climb on and through. Kids were having a blast

      - The short movie. The movie was pretty cool because it was short (about 15 minutes) and they have a set up where you feel the "weather" (misters for rain, bubbles for snow, etc). My kids and I loved this!

      The Cons:

      - Cost. Online, it says if you buy in advance and do combo tickets it was supposed to be $31.99 a person to do combo tickets for Legoland Discovery Center and Sea Life Aquarium. When I was buying them in advance, the price jumped to $32.99 a person. Obviously, a dollar won't break the bank, but it was misleading.

      - Cost, part 2. It it way too expensive for what it is. I think shaving off about $10 of the cost to make it $14.99 for just Legoland or $21.99 for the combo day ticket would be a better value.

      - The staff were very nice, but at the beginning we were given cards for each kid to get stamped and earn a prize. Of the four (or 5?) cards, only one could be filled out. They had stamping sections throughout, but the stamps were a knight theme and the kids' cards were some other theme. It didn't make sense. At the very end, there was no prize either. I think they're still figuring it out and changing over from a previous theme OR there was just poor signage as to what we were actually supposed to do to get the stickers/stamps.
