I never heard of Jianbing, as the part of China I'm from, we don't eat this. Boy, was I missing out! For the uninitiated, including myself, Jianbing is a traditional Chinese street breakfast food that originated in the northern regions of China. It's made from a thin batter primarily composed of wheat flour and sometimes mung bean flour and the batter is spread thinly and evenly onto a hot circular griddle. As it cooks, various fillings and condiments are added to the top surface and folded over. I got the friend chicken jianbing and it was really good. The crunchiness of the fried chicken, mixed with the softness of that egg-centric crust, was great.
The store itself is somewhat small; I assume most of their business is carry out, as there were a few tables along the parameter of the store, maybe seating around no more than 10 people. The parking lot too, is really compact. It allows only 4 cars. Luckily we were able to get a parking spot. Food came out relatively quick, and once they brought out our food, we were kinda left to our own; we wanted some water, but no one was to be found. I guess they all retreating into the kitchen and didn't come out at all, during the time we were dining in. Bummer... good thing I had a water bottle in the car.
BATHROOM REVIEW: Unfortunately none. I hope/assume there is one in the kitchen though for the employees ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
What a fun event! I never noticed C3 Coffee Bar before. What a great way to acquaint myself with it. And that's what I love about the Yelp Elite Experiences: it gives me a chance to try out a place that I didn't even know existed, while basking in the Yelp-atmosphere of awesomeness. Apparently they have been around for a year now, as on the day of the Yelp Elite Experience, they were celebrating the 1-year anniversary of the spot. The place I would estimate, can seat about 20 or so people comfortably, with a mixture of barstool table on the edge of the place, a few tables and chairs, and a couch that looks way more comfy than the one you see on an episode of Friends.
The decor here was clean and comfortable, I can see this as a place to relax, sip on some coffee, and/or work from home. I definitely appreciate the vibe of this place, unlike Club Starbucks, where the music is just too loud... or I'm just getting old (shaking my cane at them youngsters).
I really enjoyed my Yelp highlighter and soy latte (not together, of course) and my daughter enjoyed her donut and Solaris. The samples pulled her in, and apparently you can order it with either lemonade or Red Bull. She didn't like the Red Bull (but it gives you wings!) and opted for the lemonade.
Overall, good pastries, coffee, drinks, and vibe. Thank you to Kesha for organizing this, and the C3 Coffee Crew. I will be coming back after checking out the CD collection at the nearby Best Buy. People still use CDs right?
BATHROOM REVIEW: Sorry to disappoint, no normal bathroom review here. I didn't see one, or maybe I wasn't looking hard enough.

Food still good like the last couple of times I went. Service and staff were friendly. Only small thing was the guacamole was kinda bland, but with the flick of the wrist and a salt shaker, it was good. I like the guacamole being chunky, which I found to be the case here.
Found this place on Yelp, it's in the same strip mall as the 7-Eleven. The place is fast and service was good. You go in, order your food at the front, and they bring the food out to you. They ask if you want hot sauce and if so, they bring it to you.
I ordered the steak, fish, lengua, and carnitas tacos. Tacos came out pretty quick. My favorite out of the inch was the carnitas. It was packed with flavor and tender. Really good!
The dining area is spacious with a small area near the entrance, and a larger area at the other side of the restaurant. Hard to explain, but plenty of seats, is all you need to know. The dining area has a nice touch with moral paintings and great decor.
This place got relocated and remodeled from the previous location. If I would to eyeball it, slightly smaller than their original location. I do like the fact you can get sashimi, limit two per roll, at the all you can eat sushi.
We have gone here three times since the remodel. Food is good and service is good overall. But two out of the three times, our food came out reaaaaally slow. We are talking about 45-min to almost an hour between rounds. Twice we were there for over 2.5hrs, only to get in two rounds of sushi. To a point where the last time, I left there hungry, but I didn't want to wait 3hrs for food, as much as I love food. Beware of slow food output in peak hours. I hope they remediate this
BATHROOM REVIEW: located near the middle side of the restaurant, bathroom was immaculate. I would hope so since it got remodeled. Overall, a nice peeing experience. Sit or squat? Sit!
It's often hit-or-miss when trying to find an All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) sushi place. The price-point for such places are roughly $20, so for $19.99 (as of May 2016), this place is cheaper than your usual AYCE! (haha) What's also cool about this place is that they have a Mongolian BBQ section for all your non-sushi, stir-fry cravings. Located in a big strip mall, this place may be somewhat hard to find, a hidden gem of Buffalo Grove.
We had a party of 14 and the waitstaff for this place was on-point. The food came super-fast, and some of us got our sushi in a nice boat (toot! toot!) while others got their's on a plate (boo!).
BATHROOM REVIEW: Located in the back, the bathroom is pretty clean and in working order. Sit or squat? Sit!

Meh. The food was definitely underrated. We ordered the whole chicken which covered all body parts and although I'm team white meat, the chicken was just a-ok. The flavor was nothing that really stood out for me.
Since we got there and there were no tables or booths available, we opted for bar seating. Service was good though, and the overall dining experience was A-OK. Will I go back? Probably not.
BATHROOM REVIEW: Located near the front entrance, the bathroom consisted of a couple of urinals and stalls. They were ok, not too clean though, but everything was in working condition. Sit or squat? Squat.
