There is so much food it is almost overwhelming since everything there tastes good, especially the gyros. In all my visits there, I have never managed to finish my plate and always have gone home with a doggy bag.
There is food for those who are strictly vegetarian. For meat lovers, if you don't get a gyro you are insane. My husband thinks that of all the places we have ever been to, this place has the best gyros.
Definitely a place worth visiting!!!
They have an amazing food court that looks like something straight out of a movie. They have flashy little booths with food displayed, where almost everything comes with hot sauce. They have Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese food. They even have a little shop where you can buy rice cookers amongst other utensils for the kitchen.
The price of food in the regular part of H Mart, not the food court, can be expensive unless items are on sale. They seem to be almost a dollar higher in price than Ranch 99 (when I was looking at frozen dumplings). The place is very clean and the layout is great. But I think I may just stick to Ranch 99 when doing my grocery shopping.
Great food and excellent service. Love their Bacon Avacado Burger that debuts only certain months of the year but is something you have to special order when it is off season. Burgers are juicy and fries are delicious. Definitely worth visiting!
You need to try all the salsa when you get there. They are AMAZING!!! They have a regular salsa, one that is hot, and a white habanero sauce that will blow your mind. Of all the salsas I've ever had in my lifetime, the white sauce is by far is my favorite. They have fresh tortillas that they make daily that are nothing more than addicting. The portions are huge so you may have to share. I have already been there three times and each time has been just as good. My only negative about the place was a server that was slow to bring out food when we had a group of people that went.
Went there after a recommendation from a few coworkers. Definitely worth it. Husband loved the food there especially the fried shrimp and I couldn't get enough of the Po' Boy Sandwich (that seemed to have the perfect sauce). It's not the prettiest place you could dine at (very much a hole in the wall), but worth going to nonetheless.
It has been a while since I have been to Los Lupes with my husband since we have moved. But we were back over the weekend and the food was even better than it was the last time we went. My husband tried something new off the menu, a fajita bowl mixed with meat, seafood, and veggies. The cheese that melted in the sizzling bowl was amazing and my combo enchilada plate was just the right mix with the fajita bowl.
Definitely will be going back hopefully next time to try their brunch buffet!
P.S. They have great breakfast tacos that you can order and take out. When I used to live in Addison, I'd go there all the time. I think that they by far have the best breakfast tacos in the DFW metroplex (and they should since they've been around for 25-30 years).
The place is great. It has a patio that is great for a romantic date night. Food is affordable and tastes good. Tacos al Carbon is the item I always get. The quail is great, too.
Definitely recommend this place. Though Glorias in Addison is even better if you're doing a girls night out. They have salsa dancing on certain nights!
Probably the best breakfast I've had in a long time. I've been to Crossroads before, but my second time there surpassed my initial visit. My husband had eggs benedict and I had pecan pancakes (which weren't as good as the eggs benedict). They gave us so much food I had food for the next two days.
I definitely recommend splitting a plate. From what I understand, they hand pick their sausage, so I'll have to try that when I come back. I also found out through the waitress that they make sticky buns every hour, so I'll be sure to try that the next time I go.
Get there early cause there are always lines. And be aware that they are not open all day. I know that the last time I tried going with my husband they had closed. So check the hours.
You definitely get a lot for your money and you'll be assured that the food is good since it's prepared by a 4 star chef who won the James Beard award, which is the most coveted and most prestigious award you can get (and is equivalent to winning the Oscar).
I will definitely be back and will invite my family when they come over.
This place was recommended by a coworker so I gave it a chance and figured that it had to be great since it was on D Dallas Magazines top 100 list of best restaurants. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype and I was highly disappointed. Our waitress was nice but the food was just mediocre. I expected to taste the best chicken I've ever had but KFC tasted better.
It's not a place to dress up at. It's great for some people, but not for me. I hated the fact that they only let us bring the chicken home and not the veggies or side dishes. I do not think I will be coming back. It's sad cause I had really high expectations for this place.
