I have been a customer at Amati for about 17 years. It is a really fun shop to look around in, with violins hanging everywhere. They have always taken good care of me. We currently own two violins, a viola and a cello plus bows and cases that were all purchased from Amati.
I agree with Melody S- Dan's comment doesn't make much sense to me. I send new students here.
Great, small park- Play structures for older and younger kids. The younger kid area has the bouncy ground and no bark/pebbles for tots to chew on. Lots of picnic tables, a hill for kids to run up and down, and the snake water feature. I wish it had a little more shade, but it is still good for morning or late afternoon. Walking paths, basketball court, soccer fields, sand volleyball, BBQ grills.
My experience with Suddath was devastating. That may seem like a strong word, but I care about my belongings.
We did a company move from Dublin, CA to Houston, TX in Jan of 2012. I think the packers just got fatigued, because they stopped wrapping and packing and just started dumping things in boxes at the end. They destroyed and/or severely damaged so many items, including:
furniture (huge scratches and gouges on head board, dressers, nightstands, desk, and lost hardware to reassemble jewelry armoir, baby crib and daybed)
Fragile items destroyed:
Multiple Picture frames
Several porcelain figurines
College diploma display case
They denied our claim because 1) my husband was told verbally over-the-phone he had one year to submit and 2) that information was wrong and he submitted the claim a month late.
The amount of damage was completely unacceptable and heartbreaking.
We've been using More Hands for about 10 moths now and I'm pleased. I almost always get the same team which is really important to me. They haven't broken anything, and are very sweet to my young children as we are usually there when they arrive.
There was a scheduling misunderstanding once but the director does try hard to communicate and make things right. 10 months in, the quality of work is still good and now they know all my special instructions-- how to open child safety locks, what floor cleaner I use, where the sheets are kept, etc.
The team truly does make a difference. When we first hired them I had a brand new baby and they tried hard to stay out of my way or even carry a box downstairs for me.
It's really convenient that they take credit cards and I have it on autopay. One less thing to think about.19/06/2013 We really appreciate you taking the time to write this review. We are pleased that you have enjoyed… En savoir plus
This restaurant gets an A+ in my book. I come in with my toddler and infant, which can be challenging. However, they haven't skipped on labor- there is always a friendly staff person to bring my food to the table, help me with the high chair, even help me get the toddler into the high chair. That extra help I know raises their labor costs but it makes all the difference to me. After lunch we play in the indoor playground. It has never been too crowded and it seems clean. Then we get the ice cream cone before heading home.
Last, they have the disposable place mats ready to go with the high chairs. Those thing make lunch so much easier.
Update- we've been eating here some again and they are doing better with getting our orders right the first time. No more quality issues either. We eat here a lot. But that is going to change. We get our order to- go and there is almost always… En savoir plus
The last time we went the place was a zoo! There were way too many children. I would have turned around and left except I was meeting a friend. When it is overcrowded like that, it stops being fun.My two-year old enjoys Wonderwild. I have taken him 3 times. We play for an hour or so when we go.… En savoir plus
I finally got a chance to try out A 2nd Cup. My iced mocha was very good. Despite the limited hours and somewhat limited menu (no hot cocoa), there is a lot to like: yummy drinks, plenty of parking, some comfy chairs, and for mommies like me there is enough room in the place to maneuver a stroller without bumping into chairs.
And of course the shop is supporting a great cause.
