Well, this place came recommended from a friend, so I figured I would give it a try. We were told 15 minutes but only waited about 5. Excellent.
Atmosphere: Very chill, hipster-esque, cute decor, GREAT music. The tables are a little cramped, but the restaurant wasn't super packed inside, so it was tolerable.
Food: I had the poached eggs. It was quite fantastic, however, the portion was VERY small. I finished off the meal with a well made cappuccino. The coffee is AWESOME. I repeat: The coffee is AWESOME. BEST part of the whole experience.
Service: The service was a little lack-luster, just felt like the waitress didn't really want to be there. I know what it is like to feel that way, though, and she was cool enough, and the food and drinks were well stocked the entire time, so I'm still all for Cafe Colette. For brunch anyways. :)
Ok, so I should have checked yelp before coming in here, but I was starving. The $8.50 pasta special? Lies. Its not even enough to feed a small child. So after upgrading to the larger portion for "only $1 more" I found that the portion size is about 1 oz more. What. The. Hell.
So, after the waiter refused to talk to me and only spoke to my friend that I was with, he proceeded to serve me with the $9.50 we will call it toddler sized portion. The dish was incredibly bland and I honestly wish I would have just crossed the street to try a different restaurant in little italy.
