Highlights: the ambiance, the chive butter brioche buns, the petite Italian meatballs, and the desserts--we had the pumpkin creme brûlée and the cookie skillet.

Overall, we enjoyed our experience there, but it didn't blow me out of the water. I think my expectations were probably too high, but for the price, I thought it would be incredible, not just good.

Some minor critiques: our waitress was a little slow and passive aggressive. Also, the entrees were definitely on the saltier side. Not inedible, just too salty for my taste.

Would come back, but probably try different dishes next time!

This was my first time at Spasso's despite passing by the place several times--we went in on a whim one Saturday and were pleasantly surprised! The place was packed (always a good sign) so I definitely recommend a reservation for the weekends. We ordered the grilled calamari, chicken parm, and a seafood pasta dish (I forget the name). They were all great and the seafood dishes tasted fresh! My only critique was that the chicken was slightly dry, but not too bad. The service was good as well. Overall, no complaints. This seems like a really good, reliable, family-friendly, option that I'd definitely come back to!

The man who was standing at the door (the owner, who I know now is named Le) was clearly on a power trip last evening and was incredibly rude to me and my friends. Immediately upon our arrival he started talking down to us, asking "do you know even know what kind of bar this is?" And giving us attitude that was completely unwarranted. When I asked for his name he refused to give it to me or even look at me. I don't know why this man feels like he has the right to treat people this way. All I did was ask him if the bar was still open...this is truly by far the worst service I've ever experienced. Do not give them your business.

This place is pretty overrated. We were in Montreal for the weekend, and pretty excited to have hot soup because we were all fighting off a cold. But this place's noodle soup was subpar at best. Not inedible, but both the broth and meat were bland. The meat also had a weird aftertaste. Also, the line outside the door is a scam!! The only reason they have such a long line is because their service is incredibly slow. Everything from taking our order to preparing our food to bringing us our check--it all took much longer than it should've.
