This was okay. I ordered the lamb shish-kabobs online and when I arrived I still had to wait 20 minutes for my food. I felt like the meat was very over-cooked and dry. However, it was only 6 dollars and came with pita, salad and rice. I would give it another try to see if the other dishes are better.
Am I the only one that thinks the food from Maple is terrible? I am not a picky eater, I literally eat everything, except for heavily flavored ginger dishes. I ordered from maple bc I got a free $15 credit and I said, free delivery? hell yeah. I looked at their options and they all seemed amazing, how could I choose?! Luckily my boyfriend/roommate also ordered dinner that night, so we got to choose 2 dishes. We got the honey glazed pork with sweet potatoes and veggies and the broccoli patties with salad. I took a bite of the pork, not bad but the vegetables were not appetizing. The broccoli patties were mine and I couldn't eat it. I forced myself to stomach half a pattie (the meal came with 2) and I had to quit. The last time I had a free meal and didn't finish it was at yardhouse in 2013. I remember the exact instance bc this is how rarely it happens. I don't know how to explain why the food tasted so badly, maybe there were some kind of crunchy chickpea things that had a weird texture? Maybe the veggies just tasted really not good? Either way, neither dish was finished and I had to delete every email from them in my inbox bc every time I read the word maple I had a gag reflex.25/08/2015 Jennifer, thank you for bringing this to our attention, we're really sorry you had such a bad… En savoir plus
This place is great and they are efficient!
If they are busy, they will let you know and not bullshit you, making you wait there for an hour to get your turn.
They did a great job and it was around $32 for a mani/pedi!
Will be back again.
I came here based on the reputation of the chef, expecting high prices and hopefully, noteworthy food. My boyfriend and I got the squid ink pasta and the lobster roll. The squid ink pasta was a seasonal dish and cost about $26, the lobster roll is always on the menu and costs about $29. I had a bite of the lobster roll, it was good but not anything I would call spectacular. There are many other places in New England or just Boston that you could get just as good of a lobster roll for much less than that price.
And if it hadn't been for the squid ink pasta, this restaurant would have received less stars, but the squid ink pasta does exist. I had it on friday night for dinner and here on sunday afternoon, post lunch, I am still thinking about it and how I must return before the pasta is no longer on the menu!!
The pasta and squid was soooo soft you ALMOST couldn't discern between them, but you could which made it all the more better. It had a little hit of acidity that pushed the flavors over the top and a little crisp on top to give the texture a change here and there.
Im still going through my schedule in my head to see when I could stop by even if it's for take out. The best pasta I have ever had and if you have a chance, ORDER IT.
hmmm, another overrated nyc donut? THINK NOT.
I walked from the east village to dough to pay 5.50 for TWO donuts. Thinking, Man, I just spent almost six bucks for 2 donuts, when at home in CA, I could have gotten half a dozen.
As I went to take my first bite, I was still thinking, damn, I just got had and wasted my money. But as I continued easting my first bite, of this delectable, chewy, doughy donut, I finally thought, It was all worth it and I want more.
I got the plain glazed, bc thats how you judge a donut shop, not by how many crazy flavors they have, but how good can they make the regular ol glazed donut. And let me tell you, Dough knows what's up. I also got the cheesecake donut, which was also very good, but I would stick with the regular glazed. DELICIOUS.
Cannot wait for my next NYC trip to stop by and grab some more!
The sandwiches here are so simple but so delicious. They use sliced bread and it really helps elevate the flavor of the lobster. Their prices are amazing! About 16 for a sandwich and 24 for two lobsters!!!
There is a tiny, tiny parking lot so get there early to snag a spot, or else get ready to walk. They also don't serve the whole lobster until noon, so get your timing down right!
Can't wait to try again
This place is good and friendly and down home.
My suggestion is to hit up the ATM and come when it just opens. We did that and did not have to wait for a table for 6, but as soon as we finished, there was a line around the corner.
We made our own pizza, one with white sauce, one with red and they were both GREAT.
Amazing ingredients and friendly service!
This chipotle is just s busy, which is not their fault, chipotle is amazing. What is their fault is the attitude and anger from the staff. They are constantly blaming each other for mistakes and decisions and it's not a happy place.
Come on management, make this a happy place!
