This is one of North America's great sanctuaries.  I cannot recommend it highly enough to both Catholics and people of all faiths looking for  a peaceful place to contemplate and pray.  God is very present in this place. On the ground level there is a magnificent natural cave (GROTTO) with a Pieata replica in it. Just spectacular. THEN, there is a massive 500 seat chapel that is just stunning. It has amazing paintings in it with the central one Mary's coronation as queen of heaven. This place ROCKS!.  Then you can take and elevator to the upper level where there is a wonderful botanical garden covering many many acres. A site of sites, truly stunning.  IT has a massive meditation chapel that literally hangs off the cliff and provides amazing views of Portland and PDX international airport.  There is a Servite monastery and of course a labyrinth that is a n exact copy of the one in Chartres Cathedral in France. If you are a Catholic or believer of any kind this place is a must stop!

This restaurant is one of the finest Szechuan restaurants I have yet to encounter on my food journey.  The flavors absolutely POP like they should, even something as basic as "Hot and sour soup" is elevated to artwork at this restaurant.  I have tried several of their dishes and they were all outstanding. Of particular merit is their beef in black bean sauce. IT is my favorite chinese dish at any restaurant ever.  Bottom line, this place is very very reasonably priced and the food is extremely good!

I had a troubled animal that had suffered years of neglect and abuse that I adopted. This made this beautiful animal incredibly aggressive. I was at the point were I was planning on getting rid of the animal and that was breaking my heart. THANK GOD for Shawn. After only a couple of days of training our dog Frannie's behavior became 180 degrees better! He also taught me how to discipline my dog in a humane yet firm manner which allowed all of us in my family to have a harmonious relationship with the poor beast.  Now Frannie is fully integrated into our pack (family) and I couldn't have had this joyous outcome without Shawn's aid.  I cannot recommend this gentleman highly enough!

The people giving this restaurant negative reviews are insane. This place offers amazingly great buffet Indian food for a great price!! I cannot recommend it more highly.

This place is great, each dish was the perfect pedigree of what it should be. Also the portions were extremely huge, I had dinner and then lunch for the following day. My friend and I ordered a double order of naan, totally unneeded, one order would have sufficed for both of us, but it gave us plenty to take home with our curries.  This is one of the better Indian restaurants in Portland.

Seattle Center is eloquent testimony to the need for YELP to offer negative integer ratings. This place sucks majorly.  It is an abomination before GOD and MAN!  It has a rundown haunting like carnival ride next to the mediocre space needle. the EMP looks cool on the outside but is not worth the absurd prices.  KEY ARENA no longer has an NBA occupant. Seriously forget about SEATTLE CENTER, it is part of the terrible city, the city of Seattle, the crappiest metropolis in the PAC NW, WAY WAY behind Portland, Vancouver or even Victoria or Spokane.

I hate crapplebees.  Just miserable food, I have ate at applebees a couple places around the country out of desperation and food needing where nothing else was available but this particular applebees is the worst.  The appetizer sample the cool to th touch as was the spinach artichoke dip
when we sent it back they nuked it and it caramelized into inedible crust of disgusting crap. NEVER AGAIN will I eat at Crapplebees.

Okay back again with one of my extremely rare positive reviews for a rural tourist trap. Big Tex challenge is not for a man such as me but the food here is agreeable.  I had a triple plate, BBQ brisquette, and sausage with Mac and Cheese and french fries. This is one of the largest meals I have ever attempted to consume and it was delicious.  Good old fashioned Texas food, nothing fancy about it but the place had genuine warm Texas hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone swinging through Amarillo.

This system is short tiny and requires massive improvements to even begin to truly serve the needs of the population it serves.  It has no funding for the long term vision that I am aware of thus I believe it is a red herring nothing more, nothing less.

I am familiar with the urban mass transit systems of several major US cities.  For the size of Portland the system here is extremely robust with a comprehensive bus system full subsidized with light rail lines and street cars. They are currently building a major Southeast quadrant MAX light rail line that will bring the system closer to completion.  The system also has a requirement that 1% of all money used be used for art, so the stations have many many sculptures engravings, etchings etc. Long story short, Portland's Mass Transit is per capita probably the best in the country.
