I love this place....
It is hard to find a good nail spot in Miami, especially south beach. So, when I saw inail spa open, I was one of the first to check it out.
First impression is that it is SO clean, and the team there is SO nice. Not to mention they have an ENORMOUS selection of colors - especially Gel options, which I love.
My did my nails the first time, and now everytime since. She is a perfectionist and always so accommodating. My gel color lasts forever when she does it and they always look great. She is excellent at waxing eyebrows, too.
One of the other fab things is that they offer great monthly specials. This month the special is for gel, and I am thrilled.
HIGHLY recommend this place. So happy it came to south beach!
I am overjoyed that this place finally opened. Michael, The sushi chef's former restaurant, Little Lotus was my favorite -- until he left. So, I was elated when I heard that he was taking his insane culinary creations to a new location.
First off, the new location is adorable. Its large, fun, clean and funky. You have a choice of sitting in the dining room area or along the "sushi boat" track.
The servers are all eager to please and attentive. Also, high tech - using ipads to place orders and cash out.
But, the reason to go to this palce above everything else is the FOOD. Everything on the menu is to die for...but have to call out some of the things I crave all the time (and had been craving since Michael Left his former restaurant): The Salmon Bolla (OMG), the Paratha Cake (Delish), the Crispy Fish Salad (wow), the Big Mac "Roll" (amazing), the Fruity Roll (insane)...and I could go on, but you should start there :)
Authentic. Fun. Delicious.
Sit back and prepared to be tormented as they roll around carts overflowing with delicious dim sum goodies. You will be so overwhelmed and want to try them all.
As the plates pile up you will start realizing you are tasting some of the best dim sum you have ever had -- and the only dim sum you will ever have in Miami. All at a great price.
I really love this place and sadly I don't go often enough!
A friend recommended I try this place out. Looks can be deceiving, because it was awesome! The food was delicious, and the owner was so hospitable and generous. It was like we were dining in his home. We started with hummus and pita - they make the hummus there, and it was awesome. Then, falafel wrap - super yummy, and finished off with their home made baklava. All delicious. And for two people came to $20 total including tax and drinks - steal. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for good med food!
Amazing ambiance, food, service.
Honestly in terms of ambiance in miami, you can't beat this place. It is like stepping into a courtyard of a home in the greek isles.
The food matches that - consistent and delicious. You cant go wrong.
And the service, well, the last server we had was sweet, attentive and enthusiastic - all rare in miami.
The only thing I would suggest revisions to is dessert - I am a dessert fan and theirs just dont do it for me. Otherwise, ZERO complaints.
Indian is by far my most favorite food on Earth. And this place is just about as good as it gets in Miami (where Indian is few and far between). Everything is delicious. Starting with the papadum and chutneys they bring you at the beginning down to the last drop. I highly recommend the Saag (with Paneer, Chicken or Lamb - your preference), the Malai Kofta, Dal Makana, Channa Masala and Fish Curry. Also, you cannot miss out on the breads - fresh and hot - perfect to sop up all of the delicious flavors of the sauces. Get a paratha, naan --- and splurge for the cheese and/or garlic naan. Be prepared to walk out TOTALLY stuffed. But, the flavors you will experience are amazing.
So, I wasn't blown away. This place is very cute, and nice little touches like cool glassware, etc...and the food was good....but if not Miami spice I don't think I would eat there. I really wanted to love it because the menu items looked amazing, but they were small and a little unsatisfying. So, this would be a nice place to meet friends for drinks in the outside bar area. Especially during the fall when the weather is cooler, but for dinner I would go elsewhere. The BEST part of the meal was the white chocolate bread pudding with malted balls on top - that was to die for.
This place rocks. You would Never find it, because it is a random plaza but it is a jewel. The lemongrass chicken bahn mi is to die for. I crave it all the time. The chicken dumplings were freshest I've ever had and the bubble tea -taro - was delicious, everything is made fresh to order and the staff is extremely sweet and attentive! I love this place!
