What a charming little place with gracious service, a pleasant atmosphere, and delicious food. Who'd have thought such a place existed in Bridgeport, a place better known for eating establishments like Ricobene's and Fabulous Freddie's?
I dined here with a friend and we shared gyoza (ohm nom nom), yellow tail jalapeño (spicy goodness), and chicken yaki udon (noodles from heaven). We also were fortunate enough to be here during maki lunch special hours. Two rolls for $10!
Everything was fresh and tasty! The timing of the food was spot on, and the waitstaff was friendly and offered great suggestions.
I will definitely be back if I'm in the area and am looking for good quality sushi, great service, and an environment that is relaxed and pleasant.
All in all, a very good experience.
I was a fairly regular customer at CD One Price cleaners but I'd heard they don't actually clean clothes, they just steam them. That might work if you don't get your clothes dirty, but for the rest of us, I'm sure we don't want a stain baked right in from steaming it to death. Further, if you've got a pet that sheds, forget about it. CD One Price won't touch any article of clothing with pet fur on it. Well boo to you. I've found another cleaner here.
I brought in some admittedly difficult to clean items and received them back in a couple days looking beautifully spot free. They were slightly more expensive but not by much and it was worth it to have the items so well cleaned.
Bonus points for them remembering my name! Whoa! Consider me impressed.
Perfectly friendly, reasonably priced shoe repair. The hours aren't exactly convenient for the working professional, but if you plan to take time out on a weekend or a day off, it's well worth that inconvenience.
I brought a pair of designer shoes in after destroying the heels. They look like new and it cost me less than $20. I also received a good recommendation for leather cleaner.
I'm very hard on my shoes so I'm sure I'll be back!
Good burgers, friendly staff, not too crowded or loud.
Today I'm having the Turkey BLT burger. I wasn't too sure about the cranberry part of this menu item but ordered it without any changes just to see if the bacon, mayo, cranberry mix was something special. The verdict? Interesting but the cranberry made the burger a little too sweet for me. I scraped it off. Otherwise--yum!
I'm here on a Friday at lunch while waiting for an appointment and the noise level is pretty decent. I've also been here on a crazy weekend during the day and the vibe is pretty much the same. The staff doesn't get frantic, the food is consistent, it's lively without being too loud or hectic.
I'll come back again when I'm not counting calories and try the fries!
I like that they have the calories listed for each item and the food did taste fresh and tasty. It wasn't exactly inexpensive: $10 for a falafel wrap seems a smidge overpriced. But it was quick and convenient. I only wish they'd have done a better job of cleaning up after the lunch rush. Not a clean table in sight.
Guac was average. Salsa was good and spicy. Pollo Mixto with chicken, potato, poblano chiles and roasted red pepper sauce was fairly flavorful. Service was friendly and gracious. Atmosphere was lively and rather charming.
Adorable! One half is a lively sandwich shop, the other a quiet, serene tea room. The staff is friendly and efficient. The setting is modestly charming. And--yum--really good food!
I had a turkey and hummus panini. It was super delicious. I didn't think I could eat the entire sandwich...but then...oh my... I shoveled the whole thing into my face.
Cranky servers slinging mediocre, calorie-laden, oversized burgers in a loud and charmless environment that is hostile to salad lovers and people who love attractive, delicious, fun places to eat. That is all.
It's in the airport. There's a two hour delay on your connecting flight. You're cranky. Tired. Hungry. You're at gate B20. And there's Udi's. I'm all grouchy thinking about the prospect of joyless gluten-free fare. But, lo and behold, I am pleasantly surprised. It's pretty good sandwiches and not necessarily all gluten free. And there's a bar. And I really needed a glass of wine after a long day of interviews. Not bad. Extra star for not being sucky airport food. And for being pleasant.
Great view and large gathering spaces. The burger was pretty good. The white wine sangria was predictably too sweet and undrinkable. Can't believe the poor quality of the fruit in the drink given that fresh strawberries and blueberries are plentiful this time of year. Maybe not in this region?
Service was fine. Nothing spectacular if you subtract the view.
