I had a couple of issues with getting my membership restarted; primarily past billing errors, but the new manager Amanda E. is really helpful. I seriously thought I was calling the wrong gym. She took the time to address my inquiry, she was able to talk and hear me reasonably, and at the conclusion, I had all my questions answered, all my problems solved.
It's not just Amanda, the front desk staff, primarily Jorion was very helpful with assisting me with a day pass in lieu of the computer system posting my updated account info.
Elizabeth is hands down the most knowledgeable pet sitter/walker in the Sacramento area. On top of years of experience, she has an Animal Science Degree, so I can rest assure that if anything goes wrong with my pup; she'll know what to do. Sometimes I don't even need pet sitting or walking; I just have a question that really needs and answer and I don't want to pay to go to the vet.
So if you need anything, whether pet walking, sitting, or sound advice, call Elizabeth. She really cares.
I was a member of Thinkhouse from Jan 1st 2013-Dec 31st 2013. I thought it was well worth the $49 monthly fee for unlimited wifi, coffee, and networking. I made some great friends there and learned ways to be more productive with my own company.
I'm moving on to a live/work apartment, but this place is worth it.
They finally got someone in here who knows WTF their talking about. Thank You Maurice, for actually looking like you work out, having knowledge on the product, and not trying to over pressure me with the "have you had your multi vitamin" question.
I came to Dr. Lawson, by way of referral from a local non-profit, River City Phoenix that i networked with. I'm usually skeptical about the services from Non-profits, but I must say that I had the most amazing adjustment from Dr. Lawson, ever.
The Palmer technique is what I prefer and he knew exactly what I was talking about. His rates are fair and best part is, his office is in Midtown so I can walk from home. Every Chiropractor is different and has their own way of doing their work, but Dr. Lawson left me feeling so good, that I thought my normal chiropractor was actually bad. I'll be making the switch for sure.
Thank you RCP and Dr. Lawson.
I live in Downtown Sac and have a membership to 24 Hour Fitness Downtown Super Sport, but I also have a lifetime membership to all Fitness 19's. Don't ask my why, but I like this gym better than 24 hour fitness especially during peak hours. All the equipment at this gym is new and up to date, especially the core machines. They have way better core (sit up, crunches, etc) than 24 hr or other gyms. It's never crowded and there's a grocery store next door, in case you need something.
Every time I ask Nick or Ashley to change the channel, put a game on, or what not, they're up to it. I live a block walk from 24 hr, but more times than not make the 8 mile trek in my prius to Fitness 19 on Watt.
My buddy N'Shawn over at Thinkhouse invited me to a meet n greet pizza and beer presentation about HTML stuff last week. It was actually pretty informative......... if you have a long enough attention span. The dude talked and talked and talked for at least an hour and a half. I probably went through 3-4 beers. I give them props though for quality beer and pizza. No Little Ceasar's or Coor's Light, so I was impressed.
I even found the greatest gift idea... an origami sculpture made out of tape!!!
I chose Alpha K-9 for my puppy's Obedience Training because they specialize in larger breeds. I have an 8 mo young Dobie/Vizsla mix and I was having trouble with him learning commands. Terra diagnosed the situation quickly........ I was babying my dog too much and at the rate I was going he was going to be my owner and me not his. She recommended a different collar that my dog responds to better. Damn,.. that collar made the biggest difference and now we're working on him conquering his motion sickness/fear of riding in the car. He made his first r/t drive the other day w/o puking!!!!
Terra's also there for you anytime, 24/7, when you're having a pet disaster and need advice. More training to come.
Thank You So Much!!
Josh, the manger is pretty reliable when it comes to product knowledge and info. Nine times out of 10 I call in advance and they don't have a problem checking on an item for you and don't make you wait a ridiculous amount of time on hold. Their prices are pretty fair as well and if you have a return issue they're very flexible.
Return business for sure.
I guess I already reviewed this place 2/22/2010. Wow, I feel like I'm getting old. Anyway...........
I inquired to GD for pet day care earlier this month. I looked around at other places, prices, and felt that GD was the best place for my dog. It helps that I live off of 17th in Midtown, so that was a major factor. They do a temperament test and I was really impressed with their keenness and attention to detail with dogs. What drew me to their location was the cage free setting and that my dog would get to play and interact with other dogs. I was all set to schedule an appointment and pay services, when they reminded me that for the first time all their services are complimentary. They really want you to feel that Grateful Dog is the right place, and if it isn't don't believe in charging you. WHAT A MANTRA!!!
I dropped my dog off the following Thursday early am, the whole process was quick and easy, their staff are very cordial and caring. I picked him up 12 hours later and just like they guaranteed, he was so exhausted he just passed out upon our return home.
Their building is really clean, inside and out, several staff members, (great dog/human ratio), and best of all the environment is very Green Earth Friendly. Will definitely return.
