Sunny's is the best!
- beautiful + creative arrangements
- can fit any price range
- large selection of flowers
- lasts for 1-2 weeks (she tucks buds in there that flower when other arrangements would be in the trash)
- Amazing sandwiches at very reasonable prices
- The tuna dill sandwich
- Open 24/7
- The grocery section is WAY overpriced.
- It's like a crappier, more expensive, less selection version than Whole Foods
Bottom Line: Sandwiches only!
AHH! So good!
A few things:
- Try not to go during the weekend, there is always a super long line
- If you can only go during the weekend, wait in the line
- Get the salty pimp
Fact: A few weeks ago I overheard a minister telling old ladies after church "go to big gay ice cream, it's the best". Everyone gets down with this place.
I went here because Pinkberry was closed. Sadly, it's doesn't satisfy me the way my lover Pinkberry can.
Although there are more flavours, they taste kind of rich and junky - I like my froyo to be refreshing. Same with the toppings, they didn't have a great selection of fresh fruit - mucn more focused on the dry, junk food ish ones.
This place is good if you have a serious sweet tooth, but it didn't do it for me. Also, I like to be served.
Moral of the story, Pinkberry on St Marks should stay open later.
I'm a huge fan of italian food, and order/go to Frank, Lil Frankies and Supper quite often.
I'll be Frank (ha), the food at Frank's is really good but the service ain't so great. I found the service to be a little rude, condescending and unprofessional. It's too bad because they have a great little patio for people watching on 2nd.
Not saying I won't eat from here again, I just think I'll stick to delivery.
UGHH, so good. Took my lovely man here last night to celebrate 28 years on this earth. We obviously went for the fried chicken, and then decided on a burger as well.
To start, the rolls they bring to start are phenomenal. They remind me of the really good white rolls you get at christmas. I wanted ten (they give you one). The service was excellent, very efficient and not in your face. The atmosphere was very dark and there were a surprising amount of families dining with us (mind you, it was a sunday night). Beers were reasonably priced (6 bucks), and replenished efficiently.
Okay, now back to the main event. The fried chicken was awesome. The fried part was amazing and not too heavy - aka i didn't feel like dying after. The chicken was really juicy and delicious and flavourful. So good. And then the burger. Surprise! It was AWESOME. One of the best, forreal. Came with these awesome little waffle fries/chips. For 12 bucks. What?!
Awesome food, cozy atmosphere, very fair prices. #i'llbeback
I came here with some awful back/neck pain and asked for a 15 minute massage. One minute later - the knots in my back were being worked on. Nothing fancy but the woman doing it was excellent. Definitely not a soft massage, but I like 'em hard so it was perfect!
Massages are a dollar a minute - 15 dollars to be able to move without pain, so worth it! They also have manicures, pedicures, longer massages, facials, etc. Will report back when I check out those services!
Worst nail salon I've ever been to.
It was SO dirty. Like on the verge of vomiting dirty while they were doing my nails. Luckily I was only getting a manicure, I can't imagine how dirty the pedicure station is - can you say warts?
There were old cuticles on the nail station and in utensils that I saw lying around. They clearly have no sanitary standards and I consider myself lucky that I managed to walk out without a nail infection.
NEVER, EVER go here. There are so many places within a 5 min walk that aren't revolting.
Ace Hardware has helped me transform my tiny apartment.
The staff here are super knowledgable, not intimidating and have asked the right questions when I'm trying to paint a piece of furniture or hang something heavy (thanks for teaching me how to use an anchor!). They also tell you the cheapest way to do things.
Just a 5 star experience! Thanks Ace Hardware!
