I've been taking my dogs to the Wag in SF for boarding and ADP for 5 yrs and I was excited to know they opened the RWC Wag which is only 5 miles from home. My dogs adjusted well to the new location. The small dog play room is indoor and outdoor, they have a webcam so you can see your dogs play, the staff is friendly, and the deluxe boarding rooms have webcams which is one of my favorite perks. The only difference about the rooms in SF vs RWC is they didn't build junior deluxe rooms instead they have deluxe rooms which are bigger but the price is a little more than the Jr deluxe suites. When my dogs are at the Wag I know they are in good hands, safe and I can peak in on them via the web cams at anytime.
My rating is 3 stars only for the following reason:
As someone with celiac disease I was excited to find The Melt in my "Find Me Gluten Free" app. They have gluten free bread, however, they don't have a dedicated grill just for the gluten free bread - Warning! Run! Cross Contamination! I was not able to order but my friends did and they loved it.
Dear Melt owners, please make one of the 3 grills (or add a 4th one) a dedicated grill for GF bread only as many of us can not risk sharing the grill that is used with regular bread. Thank you!
I made my banana bread recipe using C4C and it tasted exactly like if it was made with regular flour!!
Finally the perfect GF flour recipe without tasting like cardboard! I'm excited to bake other recipes!!
Thank you for this genius creation!!!
Received a message from the GM that they now have extra security. Unless security is the police, rent-a-cops is not good enough (but at least they're trying).Pro's:

This place is amazing!!!
The pasta is delicious!
The salad is fresh and crispy!
The pizza is like a traditional pizza from Italy!! I'm rating it a 4 out of 5 because they don't allow you to make changes to the pizza. Like I would prefer sausage and mushrooms but the option is sausage and onions and that's it they won't add the mushrooms nor remove the onions and add the mushrooms. I don't know why they're not flexible. While the pizza is still super delicious each time I go it's still a bit too soggy and would prefer it to be very crisy (and I do request crispy).
The spicy olive oil for the pizza is very spicy and just right!!
Their pinot noir is smooth and a delight to have with pasta or pizza.
I live in the SF Bay Area and frequent Monterey & Carmel often. I discovered this diamond in the rough in July 2012. I've been back to the area 3 times since July and I have to have breakfast here each time. The name of the restaurant says it all, almost everything is from scratch! My favorite is the sausage patty! I prefer bacon but they make the best sausage patty I've ever had! You must try the cheese biscuits with their homemade jams (apricot and strawberry are my fav). My latest discovery is their cinnamon swirl French toast! OMG!!!! It is out of this world!
I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars for effort.
I frequently visit Monterey and have seen Gianni's pizza for many years. I finally decided to try it. The place smelled good, the pizza look delicious but the taste was a huge disappointment. I ordered the Gianni's special, as a cook and foodie, I feel that this place needs someone to help them with their sauce and crust. One word: BLAND! The sausage needs fennel seed or something to give it more flavor. Back to the sauce and crust. How can a pizzeria get this wrong?! I had to ask for garlic powder and tabasco sauce to add flavor! They need to add garlic, oregano, salt, etc... They need to upgrade their flour and work on the flavor! I'd hate to see this place go out of business due to bland pizza sauce and crust.
THIS PLACE KILLED OUR FRIENDS DOG DUE TO THIER LACK OF TRAINING, INCOMPITENCE AND MOST OF ALL NEGLIGENCE!!!!
I'M GIVING ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE YELP REQUIRES TO GIVE STARS BUT THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS!!
HERE'S THE ARTICLE THAT DESCRIBES THE TRAGEDY:
The ratings should be ZERO stars.
My husband just went there for the first time (w/o reading any of the reviews), he went there to buy ammo and a rifle caught his attention. He was very interested in buying it and add to his collection. He asked the lady if he could see it, she wouldn't let him, he asked the price and after she quoted him said "You should save your money and come back." my husand does not look poor nor homeless and even if anyone did look like that she shouldn't judge. They just missed out on a big purchase and we will tell all our friends that have been going there for years to stop going there and trust me they wil take their business elsewhere!
