Get sacked at Brick Yard!

Unless you've sworn off TV and human interaction as of late, you're probably aware that one of the biggest sporting events of the year is this Sunday (and no, it's not the Puppy Bowl, though that's a close second). We're talking about the Super Bowl, and even if our team's not in it, we've got the playbook on places to watch this epic battle of the titans.
Get in the red zone with Susan L at Ted's: "They have flat screens covering almost every wall and the onion rings with habanero sauce are amazing!" Or high step to Final Final, where Lauren S feels like she's "right at home at a sports bar in the Midwest. Tons of TVs, football memorabilia, and best of all... free popcorn!" Speaking of gratis, Jess C approves of a hang in Nob Hill at Ace's (yes, we realize it's a NY Giants bar). Still, "it's a comfy, cozy sports dive that you can easily slip into like a worn pair of jeans. And did I mention the free dogs and burgers on game days?" Score!
For an intoxicated affair, sprint towards Zeke's in SOMA. "It's the ultimate neighborhood joint with copious amounts of TVs, great people, and plenty of Jameson shots to go around," if you ask Jay V. Likewise, you'll "never miss a second of the action" at Yancy's in the Inner Sunset; Cindy F attests there are "televisions all over the bar." And hey, if pigskin's not your passion, hit up the wall of darts! When something a bit more 1% calls, Chet M makes it an all-out blitz at Brick Yard: "Classy! A sports bar with elegant decor and sophisticated menu items = the perfect place to hang if you have your girlfriend in tow for the game."
In the Haight, Scott G goes Friday Night Lights at Mad Dog in the Fog: "They've got a huge beer list that spans many pages and enough TVs to show any sporting event being played." On Polk, "Multiple high-defs and delicious donation-based BBQ" keeps Martha N in the huddle at McTeagues. Finally, at Greens in Russian Hill, Mish L quips, "There's no fuss, no drama, and always a great crowd." And who needs food when there's "intermittent bouts of heckling and good-natured bickering. It's what keeps me coming back for more." Hut, hut, hike!
