We came here after Himeji Castle. There was no line but a short wait for the next open table. It was nice and cozy inside. Staff were friendly and offered English menu. You can see the master making the noodles from scratch.

We ordered the Okame Udon (¥800), which comes with a variety of things: Wakame, Kamaboko, and Beef on top of the noodles. The broth was flavorful and the udon noodles were good. I believe it was cash only.

Cozy spot for some udon specialties right by Himeji castle. The noodles are hand-made right in view and the broth is very soothing.

The chef and servers are very friendly. Good sized portions and not too salty. The kitsune udon is a treat is real treat.

Wow! I really don't think I had good udon before this. Never been a real fan of udon until I ate here. If you sit at the bar, you can see the master at work making the noodles from scratch. Amazing! I had the mixed topping bowl and it was delicious to the last drop. Would highly recommend. Wish I could have a bowl now.....

Awesome place to grab udon! Stopped by after seeing the Himejii castle, short walk from the castle to the udon store, very clean and friendly folks! Family owned and the udon is handmade by the owners father. They have English menus available so was easy to place an order. The food came out quick and was so good!! Tried the Kamaage Udon noodles and the curry udon, both were amazing!

Udon noodles made in house, a decent number of options to choose from, fairly priced, and yummmmm
