This tea shop is just what we needed on a rainy day. We loved the limited seating concept to warm up with fantastic tea. A holiday special which had spices mingled with orange flavor and a chai latte with chocolate cake went perfect together. The lady running the store is super chill and welcoming. They had many other teas which I would go back to try again and again not too mention teas which can be purchased.

My. Favorite. Coffee. In. All. Of. Paris.
Does anything else need said?? The decor is beautiful. I was SO impressed with all of their teas and flavorings. I cannot say enough about the kind service and my latte. I got it on day 1 in Paris and went back every single day. I just wish they were open 24/7.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sijing L.Paris33328 mars 2018
quite nicely "situé" in this crowded arrondissment , there are a few tables could be a study spot and good place to meet friends. it might be very good tea bar but I am a cappuccino person so the first try will be the same anyway... Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I will be trying tea sur place next time.

If you're a tea lover, a tea novice trying to decide on something new, or just trying to find a welcoming and relaxed place to get some work done, look no further. Kodama, named after the spirits of the trees, is a owned and operated by Vincent and Martin and a recent addition to this quiet street in the 2nd arrondissement. They bar offers traditional teas as well as a selection of infusions. 3.50€ for a small and 4.90€ for a large cup. They also have a selection of financiers and other pastries that go very well with their teas.
The bar is also equipped with wifi and I was able to get speeds of 15 MB both up and down. Great place to come chat about tea, find something new, or just chill and work.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Ruth H.New York, États-Unis61499222 nov. 2017
What a place! The sweetest tea and coffee shop in Paris! The small pastries are delicious and the coffee is amazing. Great service in English, wifi and sitting arrangement. This is our new spot in Paris!

My wife and I got off our flight from the states and looked for some place to kill time until our hotel room was ready. Kodama blew away our expectations. The employee politely answered our questions about the menu (in perfect English) and served some of the best tea either of us has ever had. It would be a bargain at twice the price. My Mille et Une Nuits tasted like the best parts of a cookie without being overpoweringly sweet. Simply put, if Kodama were located in my neighborhood I'd be a regular.

Great new tea bar! The decor is beautifully done and very inviting. There are a few smaller tables and one larger one (with plenty of outlets) so it was the perfect study spot of a cold afternoon and a great place to meet up with friends. Martin is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and both the teas I tried both homemade creations were absolutely delicious! Great find in the neighborhood considering that most of the cafés are mediocre at best on rue montorgueil. I didn't try the food, but everything looked tempting so I'll definitely come back hungry next time!

By chance I came upon this spot after walking down Rue Montorgueil and it looked inviting to stop in for a cup of tea with my wife, we both loved it. I highly recommend the tea infusion of carrot, ginger and curry which was spectacular on a cold day.
